STAMFORD, Conn. – April 30, 2019 – NBC Sports continues its exclusive coverage of the Stanley Cup Playoffs tonight on NBCSN with a doubleheader beginning at 7 p.m. ET, as Brad Marchand and the Bruins face Matt Duchene and the Blue Jackets in a pivotal Game 3 of their Second Round series. Six-time Emmy Award-winner Mike “Doc” Emrick (play-by-play), Mike Milbury (analyst), and Brian Boucher (‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst) will have the call from Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

Coverage shifts west at 10 p.m. ET on NBCSN, as Nathan MacKinnon and the Colorado Avalanche take on Erik Karlsson and the San Jose Sharks in Game 3. Chris Cuthbert (play-by-play), Joe Micheletti (analyst), and Pierre McGuire (‘Inside-the-Glass’ analyst) will have the call from Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.

Pre-game coverage begins at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN with NHL Live.

BOSTON BRUINS AT COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS – GAME 3 AT 7 P.M. ET TONIGHT ON NBCSN – SERIES TIED 1-1

Columbus evened the series with a 3-2 double-overtime victory in Game 2 in Boston on Saturday night. Artemi Panarin scored twice in regulation for the Blue Jackets, and Matt Duchene netted the game-winner in the second overtime. After sweeping the Presidents’ Trophy-winning Tampa Bay Lightning in the First Round, the Blue Jackets will play a home playoff game in the Second Round for the first time in their history. The first two games of the series have each needed overtime, and both have been decided by 3-2 scores.

SAN JOSE SHARKS AT COLORADO AVALANCHE – GAME 3 TONIGHT AT 10 P.M. ET ON NBCSN – SERIES TIED 1-1

Colorado responded to their Game 1 loss with a 4-3 win over San Jose in Game 2 on Sunday to tie the series. Tyson Barrie had a goal and two assists, while Gabriel Landeskog and Nathan MacKinnon each had a goal and an assist in the victory. Goalie Philipp Grubauer made 31 saves for Colorado. The series shifts to Denver for Games 3 and 4 where the Avs have won eight straight games dating back to the regular season, including both First Round home games against Calgary.

KENDALL COYNE SCHOFIELD TO SERVE AS ANALYST FOR GAMES 4 AND 5 OF BLUES-STARS SERIES

2018 Olympic gold medalist Kendall Coyne Schofield will serve as an analyst for Games 4 and 5 of the St. Louis Blues-Dallas Stars Second Round series, which will air on NBCSN this Wednesday and Friday at 9:30 p.m. ET. Coyne Schofield made her debut as an analyst with NBC Sports during the 2018-19 regular season and has served as a studio analyst for NHL Network.

Coyne Schofield was a member of the NWHL’s Minnesota Whitecaps this past season and represented the club at the NWHL All-Star Game. The Whitecaps defeated the Buffalo Beauts by a score of 2-1 in overtime in the Isobel Cup Final this season to capture the league title. Most recently, Coyne Schofield skated for Team USA at the 2019 IIHF Women’s World Championship, where the U.S. defeated Finland in the gold-medal game to capture its fifth straight title.
