STAMFORD, Conn. – April 10, 2019 – NBC Sports Gold presents live, exclusive coverage of the remaining 2019 spring cycling schedule, continuing with the Paris-Roubaix on Sunday, April 14 at 4:55 a.m. ET. NBCSN will present encore coverage of the race on Monday, April 15 at 1 a.m. ET/Sunday, April 14 at 10 p.m. PT. Phil Liggett and Bob Roll will call the race on NBC Sports Gold and NBCSN.
The field is headlined by defending champion and three-time world champion Peter Sagan (Bora-Hansgrohe) and 2017 champion Greg van Avermaet (CCC Team).
Earlier this week, NBC Sports debuted “In the Saddle,” a new YouTube show focused on hot-button topics in the Cycling world. The first episode features three-time Olympic cyclist Taylor Phinney, who discusses his training methods ahead of this year’s Paris-Roubaix and his growing social media presence. Phinney won the Under 23 Paris-Roubaix twice (2009, 10) and finished 8th in the Paris-Roubaix last year.
NBC Sports Gold’s 2018-19 “Cycling Pass” gives fans in the U.S. access to premiere cycling races through the 2019 spring cycling season, concluding in June. Following this weekend’s coverage of the Paris-Roubaix, NBC Sports Gold’s “Cycling Pass” provides live exclusive access to the La Flèche Wallonne on Wednesday, April 24 at 8:20 a.m. ET and the Liège-Bastogne-Liège on Sunday, April 28 at 8:10 a.m. ET.
Remaining live coverage of the spring cycling season on NBC Sports Gold’s “Cycling Pass” concludes with the Amgen Tour of California, beginning on Sunday, May 12 and Criterium du Dauphine, beginning on Sunday, June 9.
