STAMFORD, Conn. – March 28, 2019 – PyeongChang Olympic gold medalist John Shuster headlines more than 25 hours of World Men’s Curling Championship live TV coverage this week on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, highlighting dozens of hours of Olympic sports programming across numerous NBC Sports platforms.

Live TV coverage of every U.S. game from Lethbridge, Alberta begins this Sunday, March 31 at 9 p.m. ET with Germany vs. USA on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. Shuster will lead the Americans in his eighth world championship competition, along with his PyeongChang teammates Matt Hamilton and John Landsteiner. Shuster won bronze at the 2016 World Championships with the pair.

Live coverage airing on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA is also available for streaming on NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app, OlympicChannel.com and the Olympic Channel app.

NBCSN presents additional coverage of the World Men’s Curling Championship, starting with Germany vs. USA on Sunday, March 31 at 12:30 a.m. ET.

SNOW VOLLEYBALL WORLD TOUR – WAGRAIN, AUSTRIA

OLYMPICCHANNEL.COM PRESENTS LIVE STREAMING, STARTING FRIDAY, MARCH 29 AT 3:15 A.M. ET

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will present a new FIVB series, the FIVB Snow Volleyball World Tour, starting this weekend in Wagrain, Austria, and continuing April 5-7 in Kronplatz, Italy.

OlympicChannel.com will provide live exclusive coverage of the FIVB Snow Volleyball World Tour in Austria this Friday, March 29 and Saturday, March 30 at 3:15 a.m. ET. On Sunday, March 31, live exclusive coverage of the semifinals begins at 4:30 a.m. ET and the medal matches begin at 8 a.m. ET on OlympicChannel.com. Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA presents coverage of the semifinals on Sunday at 5 p.m. ET and the finals at 7 p.m. ET.

In the inaugural FIVB Snow Volleyball World Tour, matches will be played to a standard best of three sets, 15 points and a two-point lead, and teams will feature three players plus one substitute. Soccer cleats are typically used when playing snow volleyball to help provide grip on the snow and prevent sliding. Beach volleyball player Travis Mewhirter, one of the four members of the U.S. squad, will be playing on the snow for the first time. Americans Karissa Cook, Katie Spieler, Allie Wheeler and Emily Hartong, who won the CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour stop in Moscow in December, will compete. Three-time Olympic medalist and three-time world champion in indoor volleyball Gilberto Amauri de Godoy Filho is coming out of retirement at age 42 to compete on the tour.


FREESTYLE SKIING WORLD CUP – SILVAPLANA, SWITZERLAND

LIVE COVERAGE BEGINS SATURDAY, MARCH 30 AT 7 A.M. ET ON NBC SPORTS GOLD’S “SNOW PASS,” OLYMPICCHANNEL.COM & THE OLYMPIC CHANNEL APP

The freestyle skiing World Cup season concludes in Switzerland this weekend with the men’s and women’s slopestyle competitions. Following his win at Mammoth Mountain earlier this month, Mac Forehand leads the men’s World Cup slopestyle standings and is expected to lead the American men. Sochi Olympic slopestyle medalists Joss Christensen, Gus Kenworthy and Nick Goepper are also expected to compete. Marin Hamill and PyeongChang Olympian Caroline Claire are expected to lead the U.S. women.

TV coverage begins on Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.


WORLD FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS – SAITAMA, JAPAN

OLYMPIC CHANNEL: HOME OF TEAM USA PRESENTS COVERAGE OF THE ICE DANCE COMPETITION TONIGHT AT 8 P.M. ET

The 2018-19 competitive figure skating season concluded with the World Championships in Japan. Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA concludes coverage of all segments of the competition this week with the ice dance tonight at 8 p.m. ET.

U.S. Olympic ice dance teams Madison Hubbell and Zach Donohue secured a third-place spot on the podium, while their teammates Madison Chock and Evan Bates finished sixth.


FENCING GRAND PRIX – ANAHEIM, CA

OLYMPIC CHANNEL: HOME OF TEAM USA PRESENTS COVERAGE FRIDAY, MARCH 29 AT 6 A.M. ET

The 2019 Fencing Grand Prix spans nine cities, with each discipline being held in three different locations. The second foil competition was held in Anaheim, CA earlier in March. Rio Olympic team bronze medalists Race Imboden, Alexander Massialas, Gerek Meinhardt, and Miles Chamley-Watson led the Americans.


WORLD CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS – AARHUS, DENMARK

LIVE COVERAGE BEGINS SATURDAY, MARCH 30 AT 5:45 A.M. ET ON OLYMPIC CHANNEL: HOME OF TEAM USA & NBC SPORTS GOLD

The 2019 World Cross Country Championships will take place in Aarhus, Denmark this weekend. The last American to win an individual medal was Shalane Flanagan, who earned a bronze medal in 2011. Rio Olympians Shadrack Kipchirchir and Courtney Frerichs, who won silver in steeplechase at the 2017 World Championships, are expected to lead the American contingent in Denmark.
