STAMFORD, Conn. – March 20, 2019 – Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will present 40+ hours of live coverage of the World Women’s Curling Championship this week, highlighting dozens of hours of Olympic sports programming across numerous NBC Sports platforms.

TV coverage from Silkeborg, Denmark continues tomorrow, Thurs., March 21 at 9 a.m. ET with USA vs. China on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. Three-time U.S. champion Jamie Sinclair, who helped the U.S. women to fourth at last year’s World Championship, once again leads the Americans. Sinclair and her team won the 2018 Players’ Championship, becoming the first U.S. squad to win a Grand Slam of Curling event. The U.S. team is 4-4 following their win against Latvia in the 11-game round robin at Silkeborg Sportscenter. The top six teams will advance to the knockout rounds, which begin on Saturday.

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA presents live coverage through Sunday, March 24, concluding with the Gold Medal Game at 11 a.m. ET.

Additionally, NBCSN presents coverage of the World Women’s Curling Championship, starting with Switzerland vs. USA on Friday, March 22 at 4 p.m. ET. NBCSN will also present coverage of a Semifinal on Saturday, March 23 at 2 p.m. ET and the Gold Medal Game on Sunday, March 24 at 11 p.m. ET.

GYMNASTICS WORLD CUP – DOHA, QATAR & BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND

TV COVERAGE BEGINS FRIDAY, MARCH 22 AT 8 P.M. ET ON OLYMPIC CHANNEL: HOME OF TEAM USA

The gymnastics World Cup series continues this weekend with two events: an apparatus competition in Doha, Qatar, and all-around competitions in Birmingham, England. Two-time world silver medalist Jade Carey will compete in Doha for the fourth of eight individual apparatus World Cup events that will play a part in 2020 Olympic qualification. Carey, 18, won vault and floor exercise at last weekend’s World Cup event in Baku, Azerbaijan. Seventeen-year-old Riley McCusker, who was a member of the U.S. team that won gold at the 2018 World Championships, will compete in the all-around in Birmingham.

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA presents the apparatus finals in Doha on Friday, March 22 at 8 p.m. ET and Saturday, March 23 at 6 p.m. ET. In addition, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA presents the women’s all-around in Birmingham on Saturday, March 23 at 8 p.m. ET and the men’s all-around on Sunday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m. ET.

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING WORLD CUP – QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC

LIVE COVERAGE BEGINS FRIDAY, MARCH 22 AT 1:15 P.M. ET ON OLYMPIC CHANNEL: HOME OF TEAM USA & NBC SPORTS GOLD’S “SNOW PASS”

The cross-country skiing World Cup concludes this weekend in Quebec City, Quebec. Olympic gold medalist Jessie Diggins, who has five podium finishes this season, is expected to lead the Americans along with two-time Olympians Sophie Caldwell and Sadie Bjornsen. Diggins is coming off a podium finish in the 10km last weekend in Falun, Sweden. She is currently the top American in the women’s overall standings in fifth, while Caldwell is the top-ranked American in the sprint standings in fourth. Three-time Olympian Simi Hamilton is the top-ranked U.S. skier in the men’s World Cup sprint rankings.

BIATHLON WORLD CUP – OSLO, NORWAY

TV COVERAGE BEGINS TOMORROW, THURSDAY, MARCH 21 AT 3 P.M. ET ON OLYMPIC CHANNEL: HOME OF TEAM USA

The 2018-19 biathlon World Cup season concludes this weekend in Oslo, Norway. The top U.S. woman in the overall standings is 2018 Olympian Clare Egan, who earned a career-best sixth-place finish in pursuit at the first World Cup stop of the season and was 11th in the sprint at this month’s World Championships. Egan and two-time Olympian Susan Dunklee, who had an individual season-best 7th-place finish in the pursuit in January, are expected to lead the American women. Two-time Olympian Leif Nordgren is the top American man.

FENCING GRAND PRIX

OLYMPIC CHANNEL: HOME OF TEAM USA PRESENTS COVERAGE FRIDAY, MARCH 22 AT 8 A.M. ET

The 2019 Fencing Grand Prix spans nine cities, with each discipline being held in three different locations. The circuit continued with the second epee competition in Budapest, Hungary, which was held earlier in March. 2012 Olympic team bronze medalist Kelley Hurley led the Americans.
