NBC Sports Provides Comprehensive Monster Energy Supercross & Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Coverage in 2019

STAMFORD, Conn. – January 8, 2019 – NBC Sports – the home of motorsports – shifts into high gear with unparalleled motorsports programming in 2019, fueled by the network’s new media rights agreements with INDYCAR and International Motorsports Association (IMSA), as it presents more than 1,500 hours of coverage spanning NASCAR, INDYCAR, IMSA, Mecum Auctions, Monster Energy AMA Supercross, the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, Monster Jam, and more.

NASCAR – The official home of the NASCAR Championship and Playoffs, NBC Sports Group will once again present the final 20 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races, final 19 NASCAR Xfinity Series races, and select NASCAR Regional & Touring Series events in 2019. NBC Sports Group’s NASCAR programming also includes NBCSN’s daily motorsports show NASCAR America, the Dale Jr. Download, coverage of NASCAR’s Awards Ceremonies, the annual NASCAR Hall of Fame induction ceremony, as well as a robust collection of original programming and specials. In total, NBC Sports will present more than 500 hours of coverage in 2019.

INDYCAR – 2019 marks NBC Sports’ first season as the exclusive home of INDYCAR, as all 17 races will be televised on NBC or NBCSN, highlighted by the network’s first-ever broadcast of the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 26. INDYCAR Pass on NBC Sports Gold – NBC Sports Digital’s direct-to-consumer live streaming product – offers live coverage of all practices and qualifying, all Indy Lights races, and on-demand replays.

IMSA – NBC Sports’ inaugural season of the IMSA SportsCar Championship begins Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, with live coverage of the 57th Rolex 24 At DAYTONA from Daytona Beach, Fla. Mecum Auctions – NBC Sports presents 800 total hours of Mecum Auctions coverage this season, including 200 premiere hours, and nearly 30 hours of coverage from its biggest event of the year in Kissimmee, Fla., beginning today at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Monster Energy AMA Supercross & Monster Jam – NBC Sports Group will present its first-ever coverage of Monster Energy AMA Supercross & Monster Jam, including all Supercross Heats, Last Chance Qualifiers and Main Events across NBC, NBCSN, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app and NBC Sports Gold. Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship – In December, NBC Sports Group announced a multi-year extension of its partnership with MX Sports Pro Racing to continue as the exclusive television and digital home of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, and will present more than 30 hours of coverage in 2019. NBC Sports Gold offers a Motocross Pass that provides 60 hours of live coverage.
