STAMFORD, Conn. – January 4, 2019 – The most electrifying high school football stars will converge on San Antonio, Texas, this Saturday, Jan. 5, as NBC Sports presents live coverage of the 19th annual All-American Bowl Presented by American Family Insurance from the Alamodome at 1 p.m. ET on NBC.
Following in the footsteps of previous games, the 19th annual All-American Bowl will showcase the best high school players in the country, including the nine highest-rated recruits, according to 247Sports, and 17 of the top 25.
Notable prospects include:
- Nolan Smith, five-star defensive end, Bradenton, Fla. (Georgia commit)
- Trey Sanders, five-star running back, Bradenton, Fla. (Alabama commit)
- Logan Brown, five-star offensive tackle, Grand Rapids, Mich. (Wisconsin commit)
- Spencer Rattler, five-star quarterback, Phoenix, Ariz. (Oklahoma commit)
- Kardell Thomas, five-star offensive guard, Baton Rouge, La. (LSU commit)
- Garrett Wilson, five-star wide receiver, Austin, Texas (Ohio State commit)
- Daxton Hill, five-star safety, Tulsa, Okla. (Michigan commit)

Additionally, five-star wide receivers Jadon Haselwood (Ellenwood, Ga.) and Kyle Ford (Orange, Calif.), five-star athlete Bru McCoy (Santa Ana, Calif.), four-star cornerbacks Tyrique Stevenson (Homestead, Fla.), Chris Steele (Bellflower, Calif.) and Marcus Banks (Houston, Texas), four-star defensive end Khris Bogle (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) and four-star wide receiver David Bell (Indianapolis, Ind.) are expected to announce their commitments during the broadcast.
Paul Burmeister will serve as the lead play-by-play voice, joined by analyst and former NFL defensive lineman Anthony Herron, analyst and former NFL offensive lineman Ross Tucker, and reporters Lewis Johnson and Marty Snider. Barton Simmons, director of scouting for 247Sports, will also contribute to Saturday’s telecast. Additionally, quarterbacks will be wired for sound, and the broadcast will feature referee cameras.
Since 2001, the All-American Bowl has featured future Heisman Trophy winners and NFL players, most notably Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham, Jr., Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott, and Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson. College quarterbacks Trevor Lawrence (Clemson) and Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama), both of whom will compete in the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship on Monday, Jan. 7, also participated in the All-American Bowl.
