ORLANDO, Fla. (Jan. 2, 2019) – The PGA TOUR season resumes at the Sentry Tournament of Champions on the island of Maui, with live coverage airing in primetime on Golf Channel and NBC. The elite field features eight of the top-10 in the world, including world No. 1 Brooks Koepka and Dustin Johnson (No. 3), who will defend his 2018 victory at the event. Golf Channel’s Golf Central news show also will originate live from on-site at Kapalua Resort, airing immediately prior to and immediately following live tournament coverage.

Field features eight of top-10 in the world: The elite winners-only 34-man field convening on the island of Maui features eight of the current top-10 in the world, including Brooks Koepka (No. 1), Dustin Johnson (No. 3), Justin Thomas (No. 4) and Bryson Dechambeau (No. 5).
Johnson defends: Dustin Johnson finished eight strokes clear of the field to capture his 17th PGA TOUR victory.
