Premier League Club Supporter Groups in Dallas, Louisville, and San Diego To Be Featured in NBC Sports’ Coverage

Mumford & Sons, CC Sabathia, & Claudio Reyna Among Special Guests

Event will feature EA SPORTS FIFA 19 Gaming Zone, Premier League Trophy, Club Mascots, Indoor Pitch, Airbrush Tattoo and Pancake Artists, and Special Giveaways

STAMFORD, Conn. – Dec. 6, 2018 – NBC Sports and the Premier League will welcome fans to the largest U.S. celebration of the Premier League to date at the “Premier League Mornings Live” Fan Fest this Saturday, December 8 in Manhattan — an event that has already reached RSVP capacity with a waiting list.

Weekend TODAY will have a special Fan Fest ticket giveaway Saturday morning on the Plaza, while co-host Sheinelle Jones and @TODAYpuppy Sunny will attend the event.

For fans who can’t make it to New York, NBC Sports will present “live look-ins” from Premier League viewing parties across the country, including at locations in Dallas, Louisville, and San Diego (specific locations listed below). WNBC-TV in New York and WNJU-Telemundo in New Jersey will also be on-site in Manhattan. In addition, fans can tweet with #MyPLMorning for a chance to be featured on-air and in the on-site social activation that will be displayed in monitors throughout the venue.

Special guests at the event will include Marcus Mumford and Winston Marshall from Mumford & Sons, who will be the musical guests for this weekend’s Saturday Night Live, New York Yankees pitcher CC Sabathia, former U.S. MNT player Claudio Reyna, and Snapchat personality Francis Maxwell.

NBC Sports’ Kathryn Tappen will host an On Her Turf interview with Rebecca Lowe.

The Fan Fest will span four match windows from 7a.m. ET to 5 p.m. ET for the first time. The event will feature an indoor pitch, the Premier League trophy, club mascots, an EA SPORTS FIFA 19 gaming zone, airbrush tattoo and pancake artists, special giveaways and more.

NBC Sports’ Premier League Mornings studio team of host Rebecca Lowe and analysts Robbie Earle, Kyle Martino, and Robbie Mustoe will broadcast live from the event at New York City’s South Street Seaport beginning at 7 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Premier League all-time leading scorer Alan Shearer will join the day’s activities, helping bring the celebration to viewers all across the country.

Saturday’s extensive coverage is highlighted by 4th-place Chelsea v. 1st-place Manchester City at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Chelsea look to upset the league leaders at home, while Manchester City hope to remain unbeaten atop the table. Arlo White calls the match, joined by analysts Lee Dixon and Graeme Le Saux.
