STAMFORD, Conn. – November 21, 2018 – U.S. Olympians Mikaela Shiffrin, Nathan Chen, and Steven Nyman are slated to compete this week across multiple NBC Sports properties, highlighted by live, commercial-free coverage of the Alpine Skiing World Cup from Killington, VT (Women’s) and Lake Louise, Alberta (Men’s) beginning Saturday at 9:30 a.m. ET with the first run of the women’s giant slalom from the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Killington Cup on NBC Sports Gold and NBCSports.com, and continuing at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN and NBC Sports Gold.

Reigning world champion Nathan Chen also headlines the Grand Prix France on NBC Sports Gold’s “Figure Skating Pass,” beginning Friday at 9 a.m. ET. Chen will guarantee himself a spot in December’s Grand Prix Final in Vancouver with a top-five finish in France.

NBC Olympics’ linear coverage of the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup season continues Saturday at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN, as three-time Olympic medalist Mikaela Shiffrin competes in the women’s giant slalom. She will also compete in slalom on Sunday. Shiffrin won the season-opening slalom race in Levi, Finland last weekend and is seeking her third straight World Cup overall title. Three-time Olympian Steven Nyman is expected to headline the American men’s team in his return to competition after tearing his ACL weeks before the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics.

Dan Hicks calls the women’s events from Killington, VT alongside former U.S. ski team downhill racer Steve Porino and reporter Carolyn Manno. Steve Schlanger calls the men’s events from Lake Louise, Alberta, joined by U.S. World Cup alpine ski racer Alice McKennis.

ISU GRAND PRIX FRANCE

COVERAGE BEGINS FRIDAY AT 9 A.M. ET ON NBC SPORTS GOLD’S “FIGURE SKATING PASS”

U.S. Olympic team bronze medalist Nathan Chen will compete at the Grand Prix France, the sixth and final competition of the Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series before the Grand Prix Final. Chen, the reigning world champion, will guarantee a spot in the Final with a top-five finish.  The 19-year-old Yale freshman looks to continue his winning streak on the Grand Prix after going undefeated on the circuit last year and winning Skate America in October.

NBC presents coverage of the men’s and ladies’ free skates this Sunday, Nov. 25, at 4 p.m. ET. Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will present daily encore coverage of all programs at 8 p.m. ET from Monday, Nov. 26 – through Thursday, Nov. 29. Live coverage of all programs is available to stream on NBC Sports Gold’s “Figure Skating Pass.”

Terry Gannon handles play-by-play for the men’s and ladies’ free skates on NBC and Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, joined by 1998 Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski, and three-time U.S. champion Johnny Weir. 2006 Olympic silver medalist Tanith White will call the remaining events on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, joined by her former partner Ben Agosto for the ice dance competition, and 2016 world silver medalist Ashley Wagner for the remaining competitions.

MILK LIFE PRESENTS, SCOUTING CAMP: THE NEXT OLYMPIC HOPEFUL

Over the holiday weekend, NBC Sports will televise the two-part USOC Productions presentation, “Milk Life presents, Scouting Camp: The Next Olympic Hopeful.” In its second season, the show highlights 90 athletes competing for eight invitations to national team camps. “Milk Life presents, Scouting Camp: The Next Olympic Hopeful” premieres Saturday, Nov. 24 at 9 p.m. ET on NBCSN, with the eight winners announced on Sunday, Nov. 25 at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.
