STAMFORD, Conn. – November 14, 2018 – Olympic gold medalists Mikaela Shiffrin, Yuzuru Hanyu and Alina Zagitova are slated to compete this week across NBC Sports, headlined by live, commercial-free coverage of Grand Prix Russia from Moscow on NBC Sports Gold’s “Figure Skating Pass,” beginning Friday at 6 a.m. ET.

Shiffrin, who has won the last two overall World Cup titles, highlights NBC Sports’ live coverage of the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup season from Levi, Finland, beginning Saturday at 7 a.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.

ISU GRAND PRIX RUSSIA

COVERAGE BEGINS FRIDAY AT 6 A.M. ET ON NBC SPORTS GOLD’S “FIGURE SKATING PASS”

At the PyeongChang Olympics, Hanyu became the first man to win two consecutive Olympic gold medals since Dick Button in 1948 and 1952, and Zagitova performed the most technically difficult program in the history of ladies’ Olympic gold medalists. Hanyu and Zagitova are joined by two-time U.S. champion Gracie Gold, who is expected to compete at her first event in nearly two years.

NBC presents highlight coverage this Sunday, Nov. 18, at 12 p.m. ET. Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will present daily encore coverage of all programs at 8 p.m. ET Monday, Nov. 19 – Thursday, Nov. 22.

Olympic silver medalist Tanith White handles play-by-play for the men’s and ladies’ free skates on NBC and Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, joined by 1998 Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski, and three-time U.S. champion Johnny Weir. Andrea Joyce will call the remaining competitions on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, joined by White for the ice dance competitions, and 2011 U.S. champion Ryan Bradley for the remaining competitions.

LIVE COVERAGE BEGINS SATURDAY AT 7 A.M. ET ON OLYMPIC CHANNEL: HOME OF TEAM USA

NBC Olympics’ linear coverage of the FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup season begins Saturday, as three-time Olympic medalist Mikaela Shiffrin competes in slalom from Levi, Finland. Shiffrin has won the World Cup slalom title five times (2013-15, 17-18).

Steve Schlanger calls the event alongside former U.S. ski team downhill racer Steve Porino.
