Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA Presents Encore Coverage of all Events Monday, Oct. 29 – Thursday, Nov. 1 at 8 p.m. ET

STAMFORD, Conn. – October 17, 2018 – The 2018 Grand Prix of Figure Skating series continues with Skate Canada from Laval, Quebec, with live, commercial free coverage of each event on NBC Sports Gold’s “Figure Skating Pass,” beginning this Friday, Oct. 26 at 2:15 p.m. ET with the pairs’ and men’s short programs. NBC presents coverage of the ladies’ and men’s free skates this Sunday, Oct. 28, at 4 p.m. ET.

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will present daily encore coverage of all programs at 8 p.m. ET Monday, Oct. 29 – Thursday, Nov. 1.

The men’s and ladies’ fields will feature the 2018 Olympic silver medalists in each discipline – Shoma Uno of Japan and Yevgenia Medvedeva of Russia. Reigning U.S. champions and world silver medalists Madison Hubbell and Zach Donohue highlight the ice dance event. Also representing the U.S. are 2014 Olympic team bronze medalist Jason Brown and 2017 U.S. national bronze medalist Mariah Bell.

Terry Gannon handles play-by-play for the men’s and ladies’ free skates on NBC and Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA joined by 1998 Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski, and three-time U.S. champion Johnny Weir. 2006 Olympic silver medalist Tanith White will call the remaining competitions on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, joined by Ben Agosto, White’s 2006 Olympic silver medal-winning skating partner, for the rhythm and free dance events, and 2011 U.S. champion Ryan Bradley for the men’s and ladies’ short, and pairs’ short and free programs.

The Grand Prix Series, now in its 24th season, consists of six international events in a cumulative point-scoring format. Each athlete is eligible to score points in up to two of the six scheduled events. The top six point-earners in each discipline qualify for the 2018 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final, set for Dec. 6-9 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
