Chris Marlowe, Kevin Wong & Dain Blanton to Call the Action
STAMFORD, Conn. – September 4, 2018 – NBC Sports continues coverage of the 2018 AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour tomorrow, Wednesday, September 5, at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN from Chicago, Ill.
The nation’s best beach volleyball teams continue the 2018 AVP Tour with a stop in Chicago along the shores of Lake Michigan for the final Gold Series event of the season, where athletes battle for more money, more points and a chance to qualify for the new AVP Hawaii Invitational taking place next week. Two-time Olympic medalist April Ross and her partner Alix Klineman, along with Sara Hughes and Summer Ross, are expected to headline the women’s field. Rio Olympic teammates Phil Dalhausser, who won gold in Beijing in 2008, and Nick Lucena highlight the men’s competition.
Veteran broadcaster and Olympic gold medalist Chris Marlowe calls the action, joined beach volleyball Olympian and three-time All-American Kevin Wong (analyst), and Dain Blanton (reporter).
