ORLANDO, Fla. (Aug. 15, 2018) – Golf Channel will air live tournament coverage from five professional golf tours this week, the start of three consecutive weeks where all five tours will be in action on Golf Channel. The PGA TOUR is in Greensboro, N.C. for the Wyndham Championship, the final regular season event on the PGA TOUR schedule before the start of the FedExCup Playoffs. The top 125 in the FedExCup points standings at the end of this week earn PGA TOUR cards for the 2018-19 season and qualify for the first of four playoff events next week at The Northern Trust in New Jersey. The LPGA Tour will be in Indianapolis this week for the Indy Women in Tech Championship, where defending champion Lexi Thompson returns to action after taking a few weeks off from competition. The Web.com Tour also stages its final regular season event this week in Oregon before the start of the four-event Web.com Tour Finals. The top-25 on the money list at the end of this week will be guaranteed PGA TOUR cards for the 2018-19 season. The PGA TOUR Champions head to upstate New York for the Dick’s Sporting Goods Open, and the European Tour is in Sweden for the Nordea Masters.

Final Regular Season PGA TOUR Event: The Wyndham Championship is the final regular season PGA TOUR event for the 2017-18 wraparound season. The top-125 in the FedExCup points standings will earn PGA TOUR cards for the 2018-19 season and qualify for the first of four playoff events at the Northern Trust next week in New Jersey.

Stenson defends: Henrik Stenson captured his sixth career PGA TOUR win at this event in 2017 and will be in the field defending his title this week.
