STAMFORD, Conn. – August 1, 2018 – Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA commemorates the 10th anniversary of the 2008 Olympics from Beijing with more than 15 hours of archival programming across five days, beginning Monday, August 6, at 8 p.m. ET. Hosted by Mike Tirico, “Return to Beijing: 10th Anniversary” revisits some of the most memorable events from the 2008 Games, including historic performances by Olympic greats Michael Phelps and Usain Bolt. In addition, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will 10-hour marathons of encore presentations on Saturday and Sunday.

Coverage will be live streamed on OlympicChannel.com, the Olympic Channel app, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.

“Return to Beijing: 10th Anniversary” premieres Monday, Aug. 6, with a 90-minute window showcasing Phelps’ Olympic record eight gold-medal performances, followed by all three of Bolt’s races, including his record-setting 9.69 second run in the 100m final.

Additional coverage includes Team USA’s 118-107 victory over Spain led by LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Chris Paul in the men’s basketball gold medal game; Carli Lloyd’s game-winning goal in the 96th minute to lead the U.S. past Brazil in the women’s soccer gold medal match; the men’s beach volleyball final, where Americans Phil Dalhausser and Todd Rogers took home gold; Nastia Liukin’s gold-medal performance in the women’s all-around, where she edged out teammate Shawn Johnson; Team USA’s win over Australia in the women’s basketball final; and Kerri Walsh Jennings and Misty May-Treanor’s second of three straight Olympic gold medals in women’s beach volleyball.

In addition, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will air “Beijing 2008: The Everlasting Flame,” the official documentary of the Beijing Games, Monday at 10:30 p.m. ET.
