NASCAR
NBC Sports Group’s 2018 NASCAR on NBC coverage continues this week with a twin bill of racing from Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa., and Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa, culminating with the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Gander Outdoors 400 on Sunday, July 29, at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Throughout the week, NBC Sports will super serve fans with more than 22 hours of NASCAR programming, including Xfinity Series racing from Iowa Speedway on Saturday, July 28, at 5:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

NASCAR on NBC’s lead race announcer Rick Allen will call the action alongside 21-time Cup Series race winner Jeff Burton from NBC Sports’ booth above the start/finish line. Motorsports icon and NASCAR on NBC analyst Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Daytona 500 winning crew chief Steve Letarte will provide additional insight from NBCSN’s second broadcast booth.

NASCAR on NBC’s Krista Voda will host NASCAR America, as well as all pre- and post-race coverage from Pocono. Marty SniderKelli Stavast and Dave Burns will report from pit road and the garages.

TOUR DE FRANCE
NBC Sports concludes its record 365+ hours of live, primetime, and encore coverage of the 105th Tour de France, across NBC, NBCSN, and the NBC Sports Gold app this weekend. NBCSN presents live coverage of the three remaining stages, with Stage 19 today, and Stage 20 tomorrow, July 28, at 7:30 am ET before finishing on Paris’ Champs-Élysées Sunday, July 29, at 9:30 am ET. In addition, NBC will present encore coverage of Stage 20 Saturday at 5 p.m. ET. NBCSN’s coverage continues tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN with Tour Primetime.Tonight’s Tour Primetime will include interview with Thomas and green jersey holder Peter Sagan, who was injured in a crash yesterday. The show will also feature a complete recap of Stage 18, and an edition of “Ask Bobke,” where analyst Bob Roll will explain the benefits of riders lunging at the line, and whether or not multiple yellow jerseys are created each day in case there is a new leader. In addition, Roll and analyst Christian Vande Velde will preview tomorrow’s Stage 19.

Phil Liggett (play-by-play) and Paul Sherwen (analyst), the voices of cycling, call the race action for NBC Sports’ coverage. The 105th Tour de France marks Liggett and Sherwen’s 33rd year calling the race together. Liggett and Sherwen will be joined in France by former professional cyclist and analyst Jens Voigt. Voigt won the Critérium International a record five times, and has two Tour de France stage wins. Paul Burmeister will host daily pre-race, post-race and primetime studio coverage, along with former professional cyclist and analyst Christian Vande Velde and analyst Bob RollSteve Schlanger and Steve Porino (‘Inside-the-Race’) will serve as reporters.

In addition to live TV coverage of the Tour de France, NBC Sports Digital will once again provide extensive digital coverage of all 21 stages of the race. Coverage on NBC and NBCSN will be streamed on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.

GOLF
Defending champion Bernhard Langer headlines a world-class international field at The Senior Open presented by Rolex, the fifth and final senior major championship of 2018, taking place at the Home of Golf, St Andrews Links in Scotland. Golf Channel and NBC will combine for 20 hours of live coverage this weekend. The PGA TOUR is in Ontario for the RBC Canadian Open, where Jhonattan Vegas will look to defend his title over a strong field. The LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour jointly host the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open this week, taking place at Gullane Golf Club for the first time. And the European Tour hosts the European Open in Germany, where Jordan Smith will look to defend his title.

MOTOR SPORTS
The Verizon IndyCar Series travels to the iconic Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, this weekend, as NBC Sports presents comprehensive coverage of the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio this weekend on NBCSN and CNBC. Live race coverage will air Sunday on CNBC at 3:30 p.m. ET, followed by an encore presentation of the Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, immediately following coverage Monster Energy NASCAR racing from Pocono Raceway.

Live coverage from Mid-Ohio begins Saturday at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN with qualifying, prior to pre-race coverage with IndyCar Live Presented by Verizon on Sunday at 3 p.m ET on CNBC. Pre-race coverage will be highlighted by Robin Miller’s essay on Ohio native Graham Rahal (Rahal Letterman Lanigan), who won at Mid-Ohio in 2015.

Lead IndyCar play-by-play commentator Leigh Diffey will call this weekend’s Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio alongside analyst and former drivers Paul Tracy and Townsend Bell. Robin Miller, Kevin LeeJon Beekhuis and Katie Hargitt will report from the pits. In addition, the Indy Lights Mid-Ohio race will air Tuesday, July 31, at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN, immediately following NASCAR America. Kevin Lee, Anders Krohn, and Katie Hargitt will call the action.

NBC Sports continues its presentation of the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship this Saturday with coverage of the Washougal National from Washougal MX Park in Washougal, Wash., on NBCSN and NBC Sports Gold – NBC Sports Digital’s direct-to-consumer live-streaming product.

Jason Weigandt will handle play-by-play duties for this weekend’s coverage of the Washougal National alongside analyst and two-time AMA Pro Motocross Champion Grant Langston and pit reporter Will Christien.

GYMNASTICS
Four-time Olympic gymnastics gold medalist Simone Biles returns to competition for the first time since the 2016 Rio Olympics, as NBC Sports presents live coverage of the 2018 U.S. Classic from Columbus, Ohio, this Saturday, July 28, at 8 p.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. Coverage will air Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on NBC.

Terry Gannon handles the call, and is joined by Olympic gold medalists and analysts Nastia Liukin and Tim Daggett.

HORSE RACING
Led by Good Magic, last year’s Sentient Jet Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner and 2-year-old Champion, a talented group of seven 3-year-olds are set for a shot at an automatic berth into the Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) in the 1 1/8 mile, $1 million Haskell Invitational this Sunday, June 29 at 5p.m. ET on the live NBC broadcast from Monmouth Park in Oceanport, N.J. The one-hour program is a part of the “Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series: Win and You’re In – Presented by America’s Best Racing.”

Sunday’s show is the fourth of 11 telecasts in the “Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series: Win and You’re In, presented by America’s Best Racing,” on NBC and NBCSN, featuring 17 “Win and You’re In” races plus other major stakes on the road to the Breeders’ Cup World Championships on NBC and NBCSN from some of America’s most iconic racetracks. The series leads to the 35th Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Churchill Downs Nov. 2-3 on NBC and NBCSN.
