NBC SPORTS’ PRIMETIME COVERAGE OF THE 105th TOUR DE FRANCE TONIGHT AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN FEATURES “ASK BOBKE” & STAGE 12 PREVIEWS

NBC and NBCSN to Feature Live Coverage of All 21 Stages of Tour de France

STAMFORD, Conn. – July 18, 2018 – NBC Sports continues its record 365+ hours of live, primetime, and encore coverage of the 105th Tour de France, across NBC, NBCSN, and the NBC Sports Gold app with Tour Primetime tonight at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Tonight’s Tour Primetime show will have an edition of “Ask Bobke,” where analyst Bob Roll will explain what happens to the yellow jerseys that get signed each day. The show will include a feature on Dan Martin, where he discusses how he’s able to get back on the bike after devastating crashes. In addition, Roll and analyst Christian Vande Velde will preview tomorrow’s Stage 12, and discuss Mark Cavendish’s future now that his Tour is over after finishing outside the time cutoff today.

Live coverage of the Tour de France continues tomorrow, Thursday, July 19, at 6:30 a.m. ET with Stage 12 from Bourg-Saint-Maurice Les Arcs to Alpe d’Huez. Live streaming coverage of Stage 12 will begin tomorrow at 6 a.m. ET on NBC Sports Gold.

 Phil Liggett (play-by-play) and Paul Sherwen (analyst), the voices of cycling, will call the race action for NBC Sports’ coverage. The 105th Tour de France marks Liggett and Sherwen’s 33rd year calling the race together. Liggett and Sherwen will be joined in France by former professional cyclist and analyst Jens Voigt. Voigt won the Critérium International a record five times, and has two Tour de France stage wins. Paul Burmeister will host daily pre-race, post-race and primetime studio coverage, along with former professional cyclist and analyst Christian Vande Velde and analyst Bob Roll. Steve Schlanger and Steve Porino (‘Inside-the-Race’) will serve as reporters.
