NASCAR

NBC Sports Group rolls into its third week of 2018 NASCAR on NBC racing with 21 hours of NASCAR programming, culminating with the Quaker State 400 this Saturday, July 14 at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. NBC Sports will super serve fans with 16 hours of trackside coverage from Kentucky Speedway including Xfinity Series racing on Friday, July 13, at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Race day coverage begins Saturday at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN with NASCAR America, live from the speedway’s pit road. Countdown to Green begins at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN, and leads into live race coverage at 7:30 p.m. ET. Following the checkered flag, NBCSN will present a one hour post-race show at 11 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports’ lead race announcer Rick Allen (@Rickallenracing) will call the action alongside 21-time Cup Series race winner Jeff Burton (@Jeffburton). Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte (@steveletarte) will call the race from a second booth alongside NBC Sports’ newest on-air contributor Dale Earnhardt Jr. (@DaleJr). NASCAR on NBC pre-race host Krista Voda (@Kristavoda), auto racing icon Kyle Petty (@KylePetty), and Hall of Fame driver Dale Jarrett (@DaleJarrett) host NASCAR America as well as all pre- and post-race coverage. Marty Snider (@heymartysnider), Kelli Stavast (@kellistavast), Dave Burns (@tvdaveburns) and Parker Kligerman (@Pkligerman) will report from pit road and the garages.

 

TRACK AND FIELD

NBC Sports presents more than 15 hours of track and field coverage this week across NBCSN and Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, highlighted by live coverage of the ninth stop of the 2018 Diamond League track and field series from Rabat, Morocco, this Friday, July 13, at 3 p.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. The event will also be available live and commercial-free with direct-to-consumer live streaming product NBC Sports Gold’s “Track and Field Pass.”

NBC Sports’ track and field coverage this week also includes live coverage of the Athletics World Cup from London, beginning Saturday, July 14, at 2 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Live coverage of the World U20 Track and Field Championships continues Wednesday at 2 a.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.

Paul Swangard handles the call, joined by analysts Kellie Wells and Josh Cox.

 

INDYCAR

The Verizon IndyCar Series hits the streets of Toronto this weekend, as NBC Sports presents live coverage of the Honda Indy Toronto this Sunday at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Pre-race coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET with IndyCar Live Presented by Verizon.

Coverage from Toronto begins Saturday at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN with qualifying, prior to pre-race coverage with IndyCar Live Presented by Verizon on Sunday at 3 p.m. Pre-race coverage will be highlighted by IndyCar on NBC analyst Paul Tracy’s interview with Hinchcliffe and Wickens. Tracy grew up in nearby West Hill, Ont., and was a two-time winner in Toronto (1993 and 2003).

Lead IndyCar play-by-play commentator Leigh Diffey will call this weekend’s Honda Indy Toronto alongside Tracy and Townsend BellRobin MillerKevin LeeJon Beekhuis and Katie Hargitt will report from the pits. In addition, the Indy Lights Toronto race will air Monday, July 17, at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Anders Krohn, Lee, and Hargitt  will call the action.
