STAMFORD, Conn. – July 10, 2018 – NBC Sports presents more than 15 hours of track and field coverage this week across NBCSN and Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, highlighted by live coverage of the ninth stop of the 2018 Diamond League track and field series from Rabat, Morocco, this Friday, July 13, at 3 p.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. The event will also be available live and commercial-free with direct-to-consumer live streaming product NBC Sports Gold’s “Track and Field Pass.”

NBC Sports’ track and field coverage this week also includes live coverage of the Athletics World Cup from London, beginning Saturday, July 14, at 2 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Live coverage of the World U20 Track and Field Championships continues Wednesday at 2 a.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.

Events on NBCSN will be streamed via authentication on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA content will be streamed via authentication on NBCSports.com, OlympicChannel.com, the NBC Sports app, and the Olympic Channel app.

IAAF DIAMOND LEAGUE TRACK AND FIELD – LIVE COVERAGE BEGINS FRIDAY AT 3 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

Coverage of the 2018 Diamond League season continues this Friday from Rabat, Morocco, highlighted by Americans Noah Lyles and Ronnie Baker, who both currently hold the fastest 100m time in the world this season. American and world 60m indoor champion Christian Coleman is slated to return to competition after sustaining a hamstring injury earlier this season.

As a part of its track and field coverage throughout the season, NBC Sports Gold will present live, commercial-free coverage of every IAAF Diamond League event, including bonus programming of field events, highlights, replays, and an exclusive 30-minute preview of each event.

Paul Swangard handles the call, joined by analysts Kellie Wells and Josh Cox.

WORLD U20 CHAMPIONSHIPS – LIVE COVERAGE CONTINUES WEDNESDAY AT 2 A.M. ET ON OLYMPIC CHANNEL: HOME OF TEAM USA


Alyssa Wilson and Samantha Watson headline the U.S. contingent at the World U20 Championships in Tampere, Finland, this week on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. Wilson is expected to become the first American to compete in three throwing events at the same global competition, while Watson, the 2016 world U20 champion, is in search of another 800m title.

In addition to linear coverage, NBC Sports Gold will present live, exclusive coverage of the final day of competition on Sunday, July 15, as well as a daily highlights show throughout the week.

ATHLETICS WORLD CUP – LIVE COVERAGE BEGINS SATURDAY AT 2 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

Rio Olympic high jumper Vashti Cunningham, reigning pole vault world champion Sam Kendricks and 2018 world indoor 400m champion Courtney Okolo headline the U.S. roster at the Athletics World Cup from London this weekend.

The inaugural all-finals event features the top-ranked teams from the 2017 IAAF World Championships, including the U.S., Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and Jamaica. Over the course of two days, 34 track and field events will determine the winner of the Athletics World Cup trophy. The Athletics World Cup will take place at London Stadium, the site of the 2012 London Games.
