Yesterday’s Daytime Viewership Ranks as Best Monday in Telemundo History

MOSCOW – June 26, 2018 – Headlined by Spanish-language World Cup coverage, Telemundo Deportes continued its dominant, record-setting performance over the past three days.

This past weekend, highlighted by six Group Stage matches, Telemundo averaged 1.68 million Total Day (6 a.m.-2 a.m. ET) viewers – doubling the combined average viewership for all other Spanish-language U.S. broadcast networks (846,000 viewers for Univision, Unimas, Azteca, and Estrella), according to Nielsen.

The momentum continued yesterday as Telemundo delivered its best-ever Monday daytime (7 a.m.-5 p.m. ET), averaging 1.4 million viewers for its World Cup coverage – topping the prior record set last Monday by 31% (1.1 million).

Telemundo Deportes’ digital presentation maintained its record pace. To-date, the tournament has reached 8.7 million uniques, generating 81.4 million livestreams, and 1.24 billion total minutes viewed.
