ROYAL ASCOT

NBC Sports presents daily live coverage of the Royal Meeting in Ascot, Berkshire, England  – one of the most prestigious horse racing meets in the world. – Daily telecasts of the full five-day Royal meeting will air on NBCSN through Friday, June 22, and the event culminates with the first-ever NBC broadcast of the race this Saturday, June 23, at 9 a.m. ET. In total, NBC Sports Group will present 22 hours of coverage over the five days.

 

NBC News’ Dylan Dreyer makes her Royal Ascot debut on Friday and Saturday, alongside Nick Luck, who will host coverage for all five days. On Friday morning, June 22, Dreyer will report live from Berkshire on TODAY.

 

TRACK AND FIELD

NBC Sports presents live coverage of the USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships this week from Des Moines, Iowa – featuring two-time Olympic gold medalist Christian Taylor and rising star Sydney McLaughlin – across NBC, NBCSN, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app, and NBC Sports Gold’s “Track & Field Pass.”

 

On Friday, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will air live coverage at 7 p.m. ET. Coverage will be re-broadcast on NBCSN at 11 p.m. ET. Live weekend coverage this Saturday, June 23, and Sunday, June 24, airs at 4 p.m. ET on NBC. NBC Sports Gold’s live coverage begins with the first event each day (full schedule below), and includes bonus coverage of field events.

 

Leigh Diffey handles the call on NBC, NBCSN and Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA on Friday and Saturday, joined by analyst and four-time Olympic medalist Ato Boldon; analyst and four-time Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross; analyst Craig Masback; and reporters Lewis Johnson and Paul Swangard, who will also handle play-by-play duties on NBC on Sunday.

 

NHL

The future stars of the NHL will converge on American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, this week, as NBC Sports presents live, exclusive coverage of first round of the 2018 NHL Draft this Friday, beginning with NHL Live at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN. In addition, NBCSN will televise the NHL Awards this Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET from Las Vegas, as the NHL celebrates the top performers of the 2017-18 season from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

 

Liam McHugh and Kathryn Tappen will host coverage alongside Emmy Award-winning analyst Pierre McGuire and NHL Insiders Bob McKenzieCraig Button and Darren Dreger. Coverage will include a pre-game feature on the friendship formed between Tkachuk and Hughes, and a segment on Wahlstrom, who became famous at the age of nine for a trick shot he performed before a Bruins game at TD Garden.

 

MECUM AUCTIONS

NBC Sports’ coverage of the 2018 Mecum Auctions season rolls into Portland, Ore., this weekend with more than 10 hours of coverage of Mecum Auctions: Portland on NBCSN, including live coverage beginning Friday at 4 p.m. ET from the Portland Expo Center.

 

Coverage begins Friday with a live, three-hour window on NBCSN beginning at 4 p.m. ET. NBCSN will present same-day delay coverage throughout the weekend, beginning Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.

 

Scott Hoke will host NBCSN’s Mecum Auctions coverage on-site in Portland alongside analysts John KramanStephen CoxBill Stephens, and reporter Katie Osborne. Mecum Auctions is led by Dana Mecum, Founder and President of Mecum Auctions for the past 30 years.

 

MOTOCROSS

NBC Sports continues its presentation of the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship this Saturday with live coverage of the Tennessee National from Muddy Creek Raceway in Sullivan County, Tenn., on NBCSN and NBC Sports Gold – NBC Sports Digital’s direct-to-consumer live-streaming product. Saturday’s live coverage on NBCSN begins at 3 p.m. ET with Moto 2s, and can be live streamed on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.

 

Jason Weigandt will handle play-by-play duties for this weekend’s coverage of the Tennessee National alongside analyst and two-time AMA Pro Motocross Champion Grant Langstonand pit reporter Will Christien.

 

INDYCAR

Coverage from Road America begins Saturday at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN with qualifying, prior to pre-race coverage on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Pre-race coverage will also include a feature by Robin Miller on Scott Dixon, examining his recent charge to the top of the standings.

 

Lead IndyCar play-by-play commentator Leigh Diffey will call this weekend’s Kohler Grand Prix as part of a unique broadcasting doubleheader. Diffey will be in Des Moines, Iowa, to lead NBC Sports’ coverage of the U.S. Track & Field Outdoor Championship, part of the 2018 Team USA Summer Champions Series, on Saturday afternoon, then travel to Elkhart Lake to call the Kohler Grand Prix less than 18 hours later.

 

Diffey will be joined at Road America by analysts and former IndyCar drivers Paul Tracy and Townsend BellMarty SniderRobin MillerKevin LeeKelli Stavast and Katie Hargitt will report from the pits. In addition, NBC Sports will present the Indy Lights Grand Prix of Road America on Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Kevin Lee, Anders Krohn, and Katie Hargitt will call the action.
