STAMFORD, Conn. – June 20, 2018 – NBC Sports presents live coverage of the USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships – as part of the 2018 Team USA Summer Champions Series, presented by Xfinity – this week from Des Moines, Iowa, featuring two-time Olympic gold medalist Christian Taylor and rising star Sydney McLaughlin, across NBC, NBCSN, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app, and NBC Sports Gold’s “Track & Field Pass.” The USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships are part of the 2018 Team USA Summer Champions Series presented by Xfinity, which consists of four events this year, concluding with the 2018 Phillips 66 National Championships in July.

Live streaming coverage begins tomorrow, Thursday, June 21, at 2 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Gold, and is headlined by McLaughlin, who will compete in the first round of the women’s 400m at 5:40 p.m. ET; and Taylor, a two-time Olympic gold medalist and three-time world champion in triple jump, is slated to compete in the first round of the men’s 400m at 6:05 p.m. ET. Taylor will participate in the men’s triple jump final at 6:30 p.m. ET on Friday.

On Friday, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will air live coverage at 7 p.m. ET. Coverage will be re-broadcast on NBCSN at 11 p.m. ET. Live weekend coverage this Saturday, June 23, and Sunday, June 24, airs at 4 p.m. ET on NBC. NBC Sports Gold’s live coverage begins with the first event each day (full schedule below), and includes bonus coverage of field events.

Highlighting the women’s field is U.S. 200m champion Deajah Stevens, who will compete in the 100m and 200m. 2018 NCAA champion Aleia Hobbs (LSU) could be her toughest challenger in the 100m. In addition, reigning world steeplechase champion and Rio Olympic bronze medalist Emma Coburn is going for her fifth straight U.S. title.

Evan Jager aims to win his 7th consecutive U.S. title in the men’s 3000m steeplechase, while reigning Olympic champion Matthew Centrowitz headlines the men’s 1500m. The men’s 110m hurdles features 2012 Olympic champion and world record holder Aries Merritt and Florida’s Grant Holloway, who recently won an NCAA title.

Events on NBC and NBCSN will be streamed via authentication on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA content will be streamed via authentication on NBCSports.com, OlympicChannel.com, the NBC Sports app, and the Olympic Channel app.
