After only four days of competition, Telemundo Deportes’ World Cup coverage continues to hit milestones and is well on its way to becoming the most livestreamed Spanish-language event in U.S. history.

Digital highlights from Telemundo Deportes’ World Cup presentation:

  •  Yesterday’s historic Mexico 1-0 victory over Germany was the most livestreamed event in Telemundo history and is pacing to be the largest livestreaming event in Spanish-language history with 1.1 million livestream uniques. The win was Mexico’s first-ever against Germany in World Cup play. The Mexico-Germany match shattered the prior record set on Friday for the thrilling Spain-Portugal match (963,000 livestream uniques) which ranked as the most-streamed game in the U.S. in any language in the first two days of competition.
  •  Sunday’s full three-match coverage delivered Telemundo’s best-ever day on digital platforms, with 2.3 million uniques, generating 6.7 million livestreams and 76 million total minutes viewed.
  •  On Saturday, Telemundo set its prior record for consumption on digital platforms, with 1.8 million uniques, generating 5.9 million livestreams and 66 million total minutes viewed.
  •  For the full four days of match coverage, Telemundo has delivered 4.4 million uniques, generating 21.4 million livestreams and 266 million total minutes viewed. The average viewer is spending 32 minutes per match watching Telemundo livestreams.
