LUCAS OIL MOTOCROSS
NBC Sports continues its presentation of the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship this Saturday with live coverage of the High Point National from Mount Morris, Pa., on NBC, NBCSN, and NBC Sports Gold – NBC Sports Digital’s direct-to-consumer live-streaming product. Saturday’s live coverage on NBC begins at 3 p.m. ET with Moto 2s, shifts over to NBCSN at 4 p.m. ET, and can be live streamed on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.

Jason Weigandt will handle play-by-play duties for this weekend’s coverage of the High Point National alongside analyst and two-time AMA Pro Motocross Champion Grant Langston and pit reporter Will Christien.

 

DRIVEN
NBC Sports Group is teaming up with PGA TOUR superstar Rickie Fowler to give viewers a dramatic behind-the-scenes look into Fowler’s alma mater in a four-part documentary series – Driven: Oklahoma State Cowboys. NBC Sports will showcase Driven across its networks and the finale on NBC, Saturday, June 16, recapping their historic season culminated by their run at a potential 11th national championship for the program.

 

WORLD CUP
NBCSN will televise its first-ever FIFA World Cup match in Spanish this Sunday, June 17, live at 1:30 p.m. ET when Brazil face Switzerland at Rostov Arena in Rostov-on-Don, Russia, in the group stage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia™. The match will be simulcast in Spanish from Telemundo Deportes, the exclusive Spanish-language home of the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The game will also be livestreamed in Spanish via the Telemundo Deportes En Vivo and NBC Sports apps.

Led by soccer superstars NeymarPhilippe Coutinho and Gabriel Jesus, Brazil face in their opening match a Switzerland squad featuring Valon Behrami, the first player to represent Switzerland at four World Cups. Brazil, a semifinalist at the 2014 World Cup, aims for its sixth World Cup title.

Sammy Sadovnik calls the match on Telemundo and NBCSN, joined by Eduardo Biscayart and Juan Pablo Sorin, a former member of the Argentina national team, where he played in two FIFA World Cups.

 

BREEDER’S CUP

The second automatic berth into the $6 million Breeders’ Cup Classic is on the line this Saturday evening, June 16, at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky., in the Grade 1, $500,000 Stephen Foster Handicap, beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The race is part of the “Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series: Win and You’re In, presented by America’s Best Racing.” Saturday’s telecast will also include coverage of a special tribute to thoroughbred racing’s 13th Triple Crown winner Justify, as well as interviews with jockey Mike Smith and trainer Bob Baffert one week after their historic victory.

NBCSN’s coverage of the Breeders’ Cup Challenge Series on Saturday evening will be hosted by Laffit Pincay III, who will be joined by analysts Randy Moss and Hall of Fame jockey Jerry Bailey, as well as reporters Donna Brothers and Britney Eurton.
