NBC Sports to Present More than 50 Hours of Diamond League Coverage Through September – Full Schedule Below

STAMFORD, Conn. – May 23, 2018 – NBC Sports presents live coverage of the Prefontaine Classic from Eugene, Oregon, this week, the third stop of the 2018 Diamond League track and field series. Live coverage begins this Friday, May 25, at 10:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, and continues Saturday, May 26, at 4 p.m. ET on NBC. Live, commercial-free coverage of the event will be available with direct-to-consumer live streaming product NBC Sports Gold’s “Track and Field Pass.”

As a part of its coverage of throughout the season, NBC Sports Gold will present live, commercial-free coverage of every IAAF Diamond League event, including bonus coverage of field events, highlights, replays, and an exclusive 30-minute preview of each event. Coverage on NBC and NBCSN will be streamed via authentication on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.

The 2018 Prefontaine Classic will feature a decorated field of Americans, including six-time Olympic gold medalist Allyson Felix; five-time Olympic medalist Justin Gatlin; 2018 60m world indoor champion Christian Coleman; reigning world 400m champion Phyllis Francis; 2018 world indoor 400m champion Courtney Okolo; London Olympic 110m hurdles gold medalist Aries Merritt; and 2016 400m hurdles Olympic champion Dalilah Muhammad. The women’s 400m highlights this week’s events, as Rio gold medalist Shaunae Miller-Uibo, Rio silver medalist Felix, Francis, and Okolo are expected to go head-to-head.

Leigh Diffey handles the call, joined by analysts Ato Boldon, Sanya Richards-Ross, and Craig Masback, as well as reporters Todd Harris and Lewis Johnson.

Content will be presented as part of the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA partnership among NBCUniversal, the IOC, and the USOC.
