STAMFORD, Conn. – May 9, 2018 – NBC Sports’ exclusive coverage of the Second Round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs concludes Thursday with a decisive Game 7 for the 10th consecutive year, as P.K. Subban and the defending Western Conference champion Nashville Predators clash with Patrik Laine and the Winnipeg Jets for a chance to advance to the Western Conference Final.

NBC Sports.com and the NBC Sports app – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming platforms for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs — will provide live streaming coverage of Game 7. Pre-game coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET on NBCSN with NHL Live.

Coverage of the Conference Finals begins Friday at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN, as Alex Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals visit Steven Stamkos and the top-seeded Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final. Coverage continues on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET on NBC with Game 1 of the Western Conference Final between the Vegas Golden Knights and Thursday’s winner between Nashville and Winnipeg.

MIKE ‘DOC’ EMRICK WINS PLAY-BY-PLAY SPORTS EMMY FOR RECORD-TYING FIFTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Mike “Doc” Emrick, who leads NBC Sports’ NHL broadcast team, won a record-tying fifth consecutive Emmy (Joe Buck) and his sixth in eight years in the Outstanding Sports Personality-Play by Play category on Tuesday evening at the 39th Annual Sports Emmy Awards in New York. Emrick became the first hockey play-by-play to win a national Sports Emmy in 2011.

GAME 7 – WINNIPEG JETS AT NASHVILLE PREDATORS – THURSDAY AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

Filip Forsberg and Viktor Arvidsson each scored twice and Pekka Rinne made 34 saves as the Predators defeated the Jets, 4-0, on Monday to stave off elimination and force Game 7 in Nashville.

With the victory, Nashville improved to 4-2 on the road this postseason. Thursday’s contest marks the first Game 7 in the Jets’ brief seven-year history, the third all-time Game 7 for the Predators, who appeared in a pair of Game 7s in 2016, and the first-ever Game 7 in Nashville in franchise history. Nashville defeated the Ducks, 4-3, in Game 7 of their 2016 First Round series in Anaheim, before losing Game 7 of their Second Round series against the Sharks in San Jose by a score of 5-0.

The Predators (53-18-11, 117 pts) and Jets (52-20-10, 114 pts) finished the regular season with the top two records in the league.
