AMGEN TOUR OF CALIFORNIA
NBCSN will kick off coverage of the 2018 Amgen Tour of California with a one-hour preview show hosted by Paul Burmeister this Sunday, May 6, at 5:30 p.m. ET. The show will also be streamed with NBC Sports Gold’s “Cycling Pass,” as well as on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.

GOLF
The broadcasters for the Wells Fargo Championship will be Terry Gannon (play-by-play), Nick Faldo (analyst), Matt Gogel (tower), Curt Byrum (on-course), and George Savaricas (interviews).

The commentators for the Volunteers of America LPGA Texas Classic will be Grant Boone (play-by-play), Judy Rankin (analyst), Tom Abbott (tower), Jerry Foltz (on course), and Kay Cockerill (on course).

The broadcast team for the Insperity Invitational will be Bob Papa (play-by-play), Lanny Wadkins (analyst), John Mahaffey (tower), Billy Ray Brown (on-course), John Cook (on-course), and Steve Sands (interviews).

KENTUCKY DERBY
The road to the Triple Crown begins this week, highlighted by NBC’s record live five-hour Kentucky Derby Day telecast this Saturday, May 5 at 2:30 p.m. ET. Saturday’s live Derby Day coverage begins at Noon ET on NBCSN.

NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the Kentucky Derby features hosts Bob Costas, a 27-time Emmy Award-winner, and Mike Tirico; NBCSN host Laffit Pincay, analysts Randy Moss and Jerry Bailey, the Hall of Fame jockey and two-time Kentucky Derby winner; handicappers Eddie Olczyk and Britney Eurton, who makes her NBC Sports Group Triple Crown debut; reporters Donna Brothers, Carolyn Manno, and Kenny Rice; and race caller Larry Collmus. Former U.S. Olympic figure skaters and NBC figure skating analysts Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski reprise their roles as fashion and lifestyle experts along with NBC News weather anchor and correspondent Dylan Dreyer; and NBC Sports Group’s NASCAR features reporter Rutledge Wood returns. Tim Layden of Sports Illustrated will also contribute to NBC Sports Group’s coverage.

IAAF TRACK & FIELD
NBC Sports Group continues its summer of IAAF Diamond League track and field coverage with the first event of the season in Doha, Qatar, live at Noon ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA and with direct-to-consumer product NBC Sports Gold’s “Track and Field Pass.”

NBCSN presents coverage from Doha this Saturday, May 5, at 2:30 p.m. ET. Coverage on NBCSN will be streamed via authentication on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA content will be streamed via authentication on NBCSports.com, OlympicChannel.com, the NBC Sports app, and the Olympic Channel app.

Highlighting the action in Doha are 2016 Olympic 1500m bronze medalist Jenny Simpson, 100m hurdles world record holder Kendra Harrison, three-time Olympic medalist Kerron Clement, two-time Olympic triple jump gold medalist Christian Taylor, and 2016 Olympic pole vault silver medalist Sandi Morris.

NHL
NBC Sports’ exclusive coverage of the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs continues this weekend with six games across NBC and NBCSN, highlighted by a pivotal Game 5 between Sidney Crosby and the (2) Pittsburgh Penguins and Alex Ovechkin and the (1) Washington Capitals on Saturday night in primetime on NBC. Saturday’s coverage of Penguins-Capitals will begin at 7:15 p.m. ET on NBC, immediately following the network’s coverage of the 144th Kentucky Derby.

This weekend’s coverage starts with a Friday night doubleheader on NBCSN beginning at 7 p.m. ET, as Brad Marchand and the (2) Boston Bruins look to avoid a 3-1 series deficit against Steven Stamkos and the (1) Tampa Bay Lightning. Coverage shifts west at 10 p.m. ET, as Marc-Andre Fleury and the (1) Vegas Golden Knights return home for Game 5 against Joe Pavelski and the (2) San Jose Sharks, with the series knotted 2-2. Pre-game coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN with NHL Live.

In addition to Pens-Caps on NBC, Saturday’s coverage features a pivotal Game 5 on NBCSN at 9:30 p.m. ET, as P.K. Subban and the (1) Nashville Predators host Patrik Laine and the (2) Winnipeg Jets, with their series tied 2-2. Sunday’s Second Round action features Game 5 of Bruins-Lightning at 3 p.m. ET on NBC, followed by Game 6 between the Golden Knights and Sharks at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Pre-game coverage begins with NHL Live at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
