Champions League Positions & Premier League Safety at Stake in Final Week of 2017-18 Season

Second-Place Manchester United visit Brighton & Hove Albion this Friday at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Universo

Everton v. Southampton This Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC

Chelsea v. Liverpool in Top-Five Premier League Match this Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN & Telemundo

STAMFORD, Conn. – May 1, 2018 – With just one week until Championship Sunday (Sunday, May 13, on the networks of NBCUniversal), NBC Sports Group presents a weekend of live Premier League matches with Champions League and relegation implications. In addition, 2017-18 Premier League Champions Manchester City will raise the trophy after their home match against Huddersfield Town this Sunday at 8:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Universo. With their 4-1 win over West Ham on Sunday, Manchester City tied the record for the most Premier League wins in a season (30, Chelsea 2016-17), and became the fastest team to 100 goals scored in a season.

This week’s live Premier League coverage begins Friday, May 4, with Brighton & Hove Albion v. Manchester United at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN and Universo. The Red Devils come off a 2-1 win over Arsenal, and have secured a top-four finish for the season. NBC Sports Group’s lead Premier League play-by-play commentator Arlo White calls the match, joined by analyst Graeme Le Saux.

Saturday’s matches will feature several relegation-threatened teams. 19th-place Stoke City against Crystal Palace at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN, last-place West Bromwich Albion will be looking to hold off relegation against Tottenham at 10 a.m. ET on CNBC, and 17th-place Swansea City look to distance themselves from the relegation zone in their match against Bournemouth at 10 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Finally, Southampton, who remain in the relegation zone by just one point, will make the long journey north to play Everton at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC. White calls Everton v. Southampton, joined by Le Saux.

Also Saturday at 10 a.m. ET, NBC Sports Gold presents two exclusive live matches: Leicester City v. West Ham United, and Watford v. Newcastle.

On Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET, Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, who has 31 Premier League goals this season (tied for the most in a 38-game season in PL history) leads his team into London to take on his former team, Chelsea, on NBCSN and Telemundo. The weekend’s live match action concludes with Arsene Wenger’s final home game as Arsenal manager Sunday at 11:30 a.m. ET on CNBC.

Rebecca Lowe hosts Premier League Live, joined by former Jamaica National Team player Robbie Earle , and former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe.
