NBC SPORTS PHILADELPHIA ANNOUNCES MULTIPLATFORM PHILLIES COVERAGE FOR THE 2018 SEASON

PHILADELPHIA- (March 22, 2018) – NBC Sports Philadelphia, the home of the Philadelphia Phillies, ushers in comprehensive multi-platform coverage in 2018 with live game broadcasts, pre and postgame shows, podcasts, and access on social and digital media.
The broadcast team of Tom McCarthy, John Kruk, Ben Davis and Gregg Murphy return for their second season together. Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt reprises his “Weekends with Schmidt,” for all home weekend broadcasts.
In 2018, 158 Phillies games will air on the NBC family of networks with 138 airing on NBC Sports Philadelphia, 12 on NBC10 and eight on NBC Sports Philadelphia+. The full 2018 Phillies schedule can be found on NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com.
In a first for the network, the Phillies vs. Mets game on Tuesday, April 3 at 7 p.m. will be exclusively live streamed, accessible on NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com and on the NBC Sports app. As previously announced, the Sixers and Flyers’ games on April 3 at 7 p.m. are scheduled on NBC Sports Philadelphia and NBC Sports Philadelphia+, respectively.
Before every game on NBC Sports Philadelphia, NBC Sports Philadelphia+ and NBC10, viewers can catch the latest team developments, game previews and opposing team analysis on “Phillies Pregame Live.” Following each match-up, Phillies fans get a game breakdown with stats and highlights, and a look ahead to the next game on “Phillies Postgame Live.” Other features include manager Gabe Kapler’s press conferences and reaction from the clubhouse. Former Phillies players Ricky Bottalico and Tommy Greene offer their analysis during Phillies pre and postgame shows this season.
