Total Audience Delivery for Saints-Falcons Up By 5% Over First Three NBC/NFL Network TNF Games This Season

Next Week’s Thursday Night Football Broadcast to Feature SkyCam as Primary-Viewing Angle for Broncos-Colts

STAMFORD, Conn. – December 8, 2017 – Last night’s Atlanta Falcons’ down-to-the-wire 20-17 victory over the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football averaged a Total Audience Delivery (TAD) of 15.0 million viewers across all platforms – NBC, NFL Network, Amazon Prime Video, NBC Sports Digital, and NFL Digital according to Fast National data released today by The Nielsen Company, and digital data from Adobe Analytics and Amazon Prime Video.

The Total Audience Delivery of 15.0 million viewers for Falcons-Saints on Thursday Night Football tops by 5% the average of this season’s first three NBC/NFL Network TNF games (14.3 million).

Total Audience Delivery measures broader consumption by calculating average minute viewing across broadcast, cable, and digital.

Thursday Night Football viewership on NBC and NFL Network peaked at 16.6 million for the game’s conclusion 11:15-11:27 p.m. ET. Last night’s game (8:27-11:27 p.m. ET) registered a national household TV rating of 8.9/16.

The Average Minute Audience (AMA) for last night’s live stream via Amazon Prime Video, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app, NFL Mobile from Verizon, Watch NFL Network, the NFL app on Microsoft, and NFL Game Pass (International) was 466,000 viewers.

Amazon Prime Video reached a total of 2 million combined viewers worldwide for the NFL Thursday Night Kickoff pregame show and the New Orleans-Atlanta game. For the Thursday Night Football game alone, 1.7 million worldwide viewers initiated a stream on Amazon Prime Video. The average worldwide audience watching Thursday Night Football for at least 30 seconds on Amazon Prime Video was 356,000.

Next week’s Thursday Night Football game between the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts on Dec. 14 will utilize the SkyCam system to provide a the primary-viewing angle. Coverage kicks off on NBC with Football Night in Indianapolis at 7:30 p.m. ET.
