Defending Western Conference Champion Predators Host Blackhawks Tomorrow Night at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN

STAMFORD, Conn. – November 27, 2017 – NBCSN’s Wednesday Night Rivalry travels to Beantown this week, as Patrice Bergeron and the Boston Bruins host Steven Stamkos and the Eastern Conference-leading Tampa Bay Lightning on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. ET. Pre-game coverage begins with NHL Live at 6:30 p.m. ET.

This week’s NHL coverage on NBCSN begins tomorrow at 8 p.m. ET, when Patrick Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks travel to Nashville to face P.K. Subban and the defending Western Conference champion Predators at 8 p.m. ET.

NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app — NBC Sports Group’s live streaming platforms for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs — will provide live streaming coverage of this week’s NHL action.

Pre-game coverage on NHL Live begins an hour prior to puck drop tomorrow and Wednesday on NBCSN. Kathryn Tappen anchors studio coverage this week, joined by analysts and former players Jeremy Roenick and Mike Milbury on Tuesday, and Keith Jones, Colby Armstrong, and NHL insider Bob McKenzie for Wednesday Night Rivalry. Post-game coverage on NHL Overtime will air on NBCSN immediately following this week’s games.


WEDNESDAY NIGHT RIVALRY
– LIGHTNING-BRUINS AT 7:30 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

Tampa Bay (16-5-2) boasts the Eastern Conference’s best record and have won six of their last nine games, despite losses to Washington and Pittsburgh in their last two contests. Through 23 games, Nikita Kucherov ranks tied for second in the NHL in points (34) and is second in goals (17), respectively, while teammate Steven Stamkos’ 36 points rank first in the league. Collectively, Tampa Bay is the highest scoring team in the NHL (3.70 goals per game) and ranks second in total goals scored. The Lightning play the Sabres tomorrow night before traveling to Boston.

The Bruins enjoyed a four-game winning streak, which included victories against the Penguins and Devils, before falling to Edmonton, 4-2, on Sunday. David Pastrnak has scored in back-to-back games, and leads the team in points (20) and goals (12).

Kenny Albert (play-by-play), former player, coach and general manager Mike Milbury (analyst), and Emmy Award-winner Pierre McGuire (‘Inside-the-Glass analyst) will call Lightning-Bruins from TD Garden in Boston, Mass.


BLACKHAWKS-PREDATORS – TOMORROW AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

The Blackhawks have won three of their last four games, including a 4-1 victory over Florida on Saturday. Patrick Kane netted his ninth goal of the season against the Panthers and currently leads Chicago with 22 points. Defensively, the Blackhawks have allowed the fourth fewest goals this season (57). Chicago hosts Anaheim tonight.

Before facing the Hurricanes on Sunday, the Predators had won nine of their last 10 games, including a 2-0 victory over the NHL-leading Blues (17-6-1) last Friday. Nashville ultimately fell to Carolina, 4-3, in a shootout and Filip Forsberg’s seven-game point streak was snapped. He currently leads the team in both points (24) and goals (11).

Chris Cuthbert (play-by-play) and Brian Boucher (‘Inside-the-Glass analyst) will have the call from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
