“THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL” ON NBC, NFL NETWORK, AMAZON PRIME VIDEO & UNIVERSO AVERAGES 13.8 MILLION VIEWERS ACROSS ALL PLATFORMS

Titans-Steelers Broadcast Featured SkyCam as Primary-Viewing Angle for First Time Ever

STAMFORD, Conn. – November 17, 2017 – Last night’s Pittsburgh Steelers’ 40-17 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Thursday Night Football averaged a Total Audience Delivery (TAD) of 13.8 million viewers across all platforms – NBC, NFL Network, Amazon Prime Video, NBC Sports Digital, NFL Digital, and Universo, according to Fast National data released today by The Nielsen Company, and digital data from Adobe Analytics and Amazon Prime.

The Steelers-Titans telecast was the first to utilize the SkyCam system to provide a live primary-viewing angle.

Total Audience Delivery measures broader consumption by calculating average minute viewing across broadcast, cable, and digital.

Thursday Night Football viewership on NBC and NFL Network peaked at 15.2 million from 9:45-10 p.m. ET. Last night’s game (8:28-11:30 p.m. ET) registered a national household TV rating of 8.2/15.

The Total Audience Delivery of 13.8 million for Titans-Steelers on Thursday Night Football topped last year’s Week 11 TNF game (13.6 million viewers for Saints-Panthers) and increased 3% from last week’s season debut of TNF on NBC/NFL Network (13.4 million viewers for Seahawks-Cardinals).

The Average Minute Audience (AMA) for last night’s live stream via Amazon Prime Video, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app, NFL Mobile from Verizon, Watch NFL Network, the NFL app on Microsoft, and NFL Game Pass (International) was 409,000 viewers.

Amazon Prime Video reached a total of 1.7 million combined viewers worldwide for the NFL Thursday Night Kickoff pregame show and the Tennessee-Pittsburgh game. For the Thursday Night Football game alone, 1.4 million worldwide viewers initiated a stream on Amazon Prime Video, with each viewer watching an average of 42 minutes. The average worldwide audience watching Thursday Night Football for at least 30 seconds on Amazon Prime Video was 303,000.
