STAMFORD, Conn. – November 14, 2017 – This week’s coverage on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA – a partnership between the International Olympic Committee, the United States Olympic Committee, and NBCUniversal – features more than 13 hours of coverage of the 2017 Grand Prix France from Grenoble, headlined by reigning world silver medalist Shoma Uno of Japan, two-time world champion Javier Fernandez of Spain and American and 2017 World Junior champion Vincent Zhou.

In addition, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA continues its coverage of the IBSF Bobsled and Skeleton World Cup season this Friday and Saturday from Park City, Utah. Coverage begins with the women’s skeleton on Friday at 5:30 p.m. ET, followed by live coverage of the four-man bobsled at 7:30 p.m. ET.

Three-time Olympic medalist J.R. Celski and emerging 17-year-old Maame Biney headline the U.S. teams, respectively, as the ISU Short Track World Cup season concludes with the fourth and final event in Seoul, South Korea. Coverage begins Saturday at 11:30 a.m. ET.

Following are highlights from this week’s programming on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA:

ISU GRAND PRIX FIGURE SKATING – LIVE COVERAGE BEGINS FRIDAY AT 9 A.M. ET

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA presents more than 13 hours of live coverage of the Grand Prix France beginning this Friday, Nov. 17, at 9 a.m. ET, with the short programs from Grenoble, France. Coverage of the event continues throughout the weekend, with the free skates on Saturday starting at 7:30 a.m. ET. On Sunday, NBCSN will air a recap of the event at 10:30 p.m. ET.

2017 world junior champion Vincent Zhou and 2015 Skate America champion Max Aaron headline the U.S. men’s contingent this weekend, while 2017 world silver medalist Shoma Uno and Javier Fernandez, who has won two of the last three world titles, highlight the men’s international skaters. 2014 Olympian Polina Edmunds will make her Grand Prix season debut as the lone American in the women’s competition. Reigning world bronze medalists Yevgenia Tarasova and Vladimir Morozov of Russia headline the pairs’ field, while France’s two-time world champions Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron are expected to lead the field in ice dance. 2015 U.S. champions Madison Chock and Evan Bates will also compete in ice dance.

Steve Schlanger calls all of the action on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, alongside 1988 Olympic bronze medalist Tracy Wilson. Schlanger will be joined by 2014 Olympic ice dance champion Charlie White for the ice dance competitions.

IBSF BOBSLED AND SKELETON WORLD CUP – COVERAGE BEGINS FRIDAY AT 5:30 P.M. ET

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA continues its coverage of the IBSF Bobsled and Skeleton World Cup season this Friday and Saturday from Park City, Utah. Coverage begins Friday with women’s skeleton at 5:30 p.m. ET, and concludes on Saturday with coverage of men’s skeleton at 9:30 p.m. ET.

Two-time Olympic medalist Elana Meyers Taylor, who finished second at the first World Cup event in Lake Placid, and 2014 Olympic bronze medalist Jamie Greubel Poser, two of the best pilots in the world, lead the American women in bobsled. The U.S. men’s bobsled team is led by two-time Olympian Nick Cunningham, 2010 Olympic gold medalist Justin Olsen and Codie Bascue, who all earned podium finishes at the Lake Placid World Cup. This season’s U.S. skeleton team features 2014 Olympic bronze medalist Matt Antoine and three-time Olympian Katie Uhlaender.

 ISU WORLD CUP SHORT TRACK – BEGINS SATURDAY AT 11:30 A.M. ET

Coverage of the ISU World Cup Short Track season continues on the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA this Saturday at 11:30 a.m. ET, with the fourth and final event of the fall season from Seoul, South Korea. Coverage concludes on Sunday at 11 a.m. ET.

The U.S. men’s team is highlighted by three-time Olympic medalist J.R. Celski and John-Henry Krueger. Celski and Krueger, along with Thomas Hong and Keith Carroll Jr., set a world record in the 5000m relay in Shanghai last weekend. Emerging 17-year-old skater Maame Biney headlines the U.S. women’s contingent which also features Jessica Kooreman, who finished fourth in the 1000m at the Sochi Games, and 2010 Olympians Katherine Reutter-Adamek and Lana Gehring, who are both looking to make Olympic comebacks.

Paul Swangard calls the event alongside analyst Dan Weinstein, a two-time Olympian.

ISU WORLD CUP SPEED SKATING – BEGINS FRIDAY AT 10:30 P.M. ET

Coverage of the ISU World Cup Speed Skating season continues Friday at 10:30 p.m. ET, from Stavanger, Norway, as skaters aim to earn Olympic quota spots for their countries.

2014 Olympian and 1000m world record holder Brittany Bowe, two-time Olympian and 2017 double-world champion Heather Bergsma, 2017 mass start world champion Joey Mantia and two-time Olympic gold medalist Shani Davis are expected to lead the Americans against a strong international field, particularly a stout Dutch team that includes seven-time Olympic medalist Sven Kramer, 2014 Olympic gold medalist Jorrit Bergsma and eight-time Olympic medalist Ireen Wuest, who won five Olympic medals in Sochi.

FIL LUGE WORLD CUP – BEGINS SATURDAY AT 2:30 P.M. ET

Coverage of the FIL Luge World Cup season begins this Saturday with doubles at 2:30 p.m. ET, from Innsbruck, Austria, and concludes Sunday with men’s singles at 8 p.m. ET.

2014 Olympic bronze medalist Erin Hamlin headlines the American women, while 2014 Olympian Tucker West and two-time Olympian Chris Mazdzer are expected to lead the U.S. men’s team in singles. Sochi Olympians Matt Mortensen and Jayson Terdiman headline the U.S. doubles team.

FIS SKI JUMPING WORLD CUP – BEGINS SATURDAY AT 5 P.M. ET

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA presents coverage of the season debut of the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup from Wisla, Poland, on Saturday at 5 p.m. ET. In addition, there will be streaming-only coverage on Friday at 11:55 a.m. ET, and Sunday at 9 a.m. ET, on the Olympic Channel app and OlympicChannel.com.

Coverage begins Saturday with the men’s team event at 5 p.m. ET, and concludes Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET, with the men’s individual competition. Rising prospect Kevin Bickner headlines the U.S. men’s field.

Bill Seward calls the event alongside analyst Johnny Spillane, a three-time Olympic medalist.

FIS FREESTYLE SKIING WORLD CUP – BEGINS SATURDAY AT 6:30 P.M. ET

Coverage of the FIS Freestyle Skiing World Cup season continues with the first big air event of the 2017 campaign on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. ET, from Milan, Italy. In addition, there will also be streaming-only coverage on Saturday beginning at 12:50 p.m. ET, on the Olympic Channel app and OlympicChannel.com.

In freestyle skiing, big air is not an Olympic discipline, though many of the athletes are in contention to compete at the Olympics in slopestyle.
