WEDNESDAY NIGHT RIVALRY
– RANGERS-BLACKHAWKS AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

The Rangers enter the week as one of the hottest teams in the NHL, following a 4-2 victory over the Connor McDavid-led Edmonton Oilers to extend their winning streak to six games. Rick Nash led New York to victory over Edmonton with two goals – his first multi-goal game of the season – after appearing in his 1000th career game earlier this season. In their last eight games, the Rangers have tallied 35 goals, including six against the Vegas Golden Knights on Oct. 31, the first win of the team’s current six-game stretch.

The Blackhawks split a pair of matchups last weekend, earning a 4-3 overtime win against the Hurricanes on Saturday before falling to the Devils, 7-5, at home on Sunday. Patrick Kane notched a goal and an assist in Sunday’s loss and leads the club with 17 points (6g/11a) on the season.

CAPITALS-PREDATORS – TOMORROW AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

The Caps have won five of their last six games, including a 2-1 shootout victory over the Oilers on Sunday. Alex Ovechkin’s team-leading 13 goals are tied for second in the NHL behind Tampa Bay’s Nikita Kucherov, while Evgeny Kuznetsov is tied for fourth in the league in assists (16).

Nashville has won four straight games, including a 5-4 shootout win against the Pittsburgh Penguins in a rematch of last year’s Stanley Cup Final. Kyle Turris, who was acquired via trade from the Ottawa Senators earlier in the week, had a goal and an assist in the win to mark his Nashville debut.

Chris Cuthbert (play-by-play) and Brian Boucher (‘Inside-the-Glass’) will have the call from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.
