STAMFORD, Conn. – November 7, 2017 – This week’s coverage on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA – a partnership between the International Olympic Committee, the United States Olympic Committee, and NBCUniversal – features 2014 Olympic figure skating gold medalist and reigning world champion Yuzuru Hanyu of Japan, along with 2015 U.S. champion Jason Brown and 2016 U.S. champion Adam Rippon at the 2017 Grand Prix Japan in Osaka.

This week’s coverage on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA also includes coverage of the alpine skiing world cup season this Saturday, November 11, at 9 a.m. ET from Levi, Finland, featuring Americans Mikaela Shiffrin, the 2014 Olympic slalom gold medalist and reigning overall World Cup champion, and 2014 Olympian David Chodounsky.

ISU GRAND PRIX FIGURE SKATING – LIVE COVERAGE BEGINS FRIDAY AT 12:30 A.M. ET

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA presents 13 hours of live coverage of the 2017 Grand Prix Japan beginning this Friday, November 10, at 12:30 a.m. ET, with the short programs from Osaka. Coverage of the event continues throughout the weekend, with the free programs on Saturday starting at 12:30 a.m. ET. On Saturday, NBC will also present coverage of Grand Prix Japan at 1:30 p.m. ET.

2014 Olympic gold medalist and reigning world champion Yuzuru Hanyu, who can qualify for the Grand Prix Final with a win in his native Japan, highlights the men’s field that also features 2015 U.S. champion Jason Brown – the 2017 Skate Canada silver medalist – and 2016 U.S. champion Adam Rippon. The Olympic gold medal favorite on the ladies’ side, two-time reigning world champion Yevgenia Medvedeva from Russia, will also compete in Osaka, where 2010 Olympian Mirai Nagasu and 2017 U.S. bronze medalist Mariah Bell will lead the American effort. Americans Madison Hubbell and Zach Donohue will compete in ice dance against three-time Olympic medalists and reigning world champions Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir of Canada.

Andrea Joyce calls the men’s and ladies’ free skate on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, alongside 1998 Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski and three-time U.S. champion Johnny Weir. Steve Schlanger calls the remainder of the action on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, alongside 2011 U.S. champion Ryan Bradley. Schlanger will be joined by 2014 Olympic ice dance champion Charlie White for the ice dance competitions.


FIS ALPINE SKIING WORLD CUP – BEGINS SATURDAY AT 9 A.M. ET

Live coverage of the alpine skiing season continues this weekend with the second World Cup event of the season, and the first slalom event, Levi, Finland, this Saturday and Sunday. 2014 Olympic slalom gold medalist and reigning overall World Cup champion Mikaela Shiffrin is expected to compete, in search of her 45th career World Cup podium and 32nd World Cup victory. 2014 Olympian David Chodounsky is expected to lead the American men against an international field that should include Sochi Olympic slalom bronze medalist Henrik Kristoffersen of Norway and 2017 world slalom bronze medalist Felix Neureuther of Germany.

Coverage begins on OlympicChannel.com and the Olympic Channel app on Saturday at 4 a.m. ET with the first run of the women’s slalom, followed NBCSN’s live coverage of the second run of women’s slalom at 7 a.m. ET. Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA will present encore coverage of the women’s slalom at 9 a.m. ET.

FIS SNOWBOARDING WORLD CUP – SATURDAY AT 1 P.M. ET

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA continues its presentation of the FIS Snowboarding World Cup with the first big air event of the season this Saturday, November 11, at 1 p.m. ET from Milan, Italy.

The women’s field features a formidable trio of Americans: 2014 Olympic slopestyle gold medalist Jamie Anderson, 2017 X Games big air winner Hailey Langland and 2017 X Games slopestyle winner Julia Marino. On the men’s side, Olympian Ryan Stassel and 17-year-old Red Gerard lead the U.S. effort against top international contenders that are expected to include four-time X Games winner Max Parrot of Canada and 18-year-old reigning X Games slopestyle winner Marcus Kleveland of Norway.

Todd Harris calls the action joined by analyst Tina Dixon.


ISU WORLD CUP SPEED SKATING – BEGINS FRIDAY AT 6:30 P.M. ET

The ISU World Cup Speed Skating season kicks off this Friday at 6:30 p.m. ET from Heerenveen, Netherlands, as skaters aim to earn Olympic quota spots for their countries.

This weekend’s speed skating action showcases an American team led by two-time Olympian and 2017 double-world champion Heather Bergsma, 2017 mass start world champion Joey Mantia and two-time Olympic gold medalist Shani Davis against a strong Dutch team that includes seven-time Olympic medalist Sven Kramer, 2014 Olympic 10,000m gold medalist Jorrit Bergsma and eight-time Olympic medalist Ireen Wuest, who won five Olympic medals in Sochi.

Jason Knapp (play-by-play) and 2006 Olympic gold medalist Joey Cheek (analyst) will provide commentary.


ISU WORLD CUP SHORT TRACK– BEGINS SATURDAY AT 4:30 P.M. ET

Coverage of the ISU World Cup Short Track season continues on the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA this Saturday, November 11, at 4:30 p.m. ET with the penultimate stop of the circuit in Shanghai, China. Coverage from China continues on Sunday, November 12, at 5 p.m. ET on the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.

Three-time Olympic medalist J.R. Celski and 15-time World Cup medalist John-Henry Krueger highlight the U.S. men’s team, while rising star 17-year-old Maame Biney highlights an otherwise veteran U.S. women’s team that includes 2014 Olympian Jessica Kooreman, who finished fourth in the 1000m in Sochi, and 2010 Olympic bronze medalist Lana Gehring. This season’s World Cup competitions will determine the number of country qualification spots for the PyeongChang Olympics.

Nick Gismondi calls the event alongside eight-time Olympic medalist and analyst Apolo Ohno.


IBSF BOBSLED AND SKELETON WORLD CUP – LIVE COVERAGE BEGINS THURSDAY AT 10 A.M. ET

The IBSF Bobsled and Skeleton World Cup season kicks off with live coverage of the women’s skeleton this Thursday at 10 a.m. ET from Lake Placid, N.Y. Live coverage continues Thursday with the women’s bobsled at 2 p.m. ET, followed by the two-man bobsled at 5 p.m. ET. World Cup coverage wraps up on Friday with the men’s skeleton at 10:30 a.m. ET, and the four-man bobsled at 2:30 p.m. ET.

In addition, NBCSN will present encore coverage of the women’s bobsled on Thursday at 4 p.m. ET, and the four-man bobsled and the men’s skeleton on Friday at 11:30 p.m. ET.

Two-time Olympic medalist and reigning world champion Elana Meyers Taylor and 2014 Olympic bronze medalist Jamie Greubel Poser, two of the best pilots in the world, lead the American women in bobsled. Former push athlete and 2010 Olympic gold medalist Justin Olsen moves to the driver seat and is aided by the return of two-time Olympic bobsled bronze medalist Steve Langton. This season’s skeleton field features 2014 Olympic bronze medalist Matt Antoine, two-time Olympian John Daly and three-time Olympian Katie Uhlaender.

This season’s World Cup competitions will determine the number of qualification spots for the PyeongChang Olympics, and heavily influence the selection of the U.S. Olympic team.


PACIFIC-ASIA CURLING CHAMPIONSHIP – CONTINUES TONIGHT AT 10 P.M. ET

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA’s coverage of the Pacific-Asia Curling Championships from New South Wales, Australia, continues tonight at 10 p.m. ET. Coverage continues with the women’s tournament semifinals.

Nine men’s and seven women’s teams are participating in New South Wales, including both of China’s teams, which will attempt to earn bids to PyeongChang at the Olympic qualification tournament in December.


INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF HOCKEY – BEGINNING WEDNESDAY AT NOON ET

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA presents coverage of the International Festival of Hockey this week as the tournament returns to Melbourne, Australia. Coverage begins this Wednesday when the No. 4 United States Women’s National Team faces off against No. 11 Japan at Noon ET.

Coverage continues throughout the week as the U.S. women battle No 5 Australia on Thursday at 11 a.m. ET and No. 1 Netherlands on Saturday at 11 a.m. ET in an effort to advance to the gold medal game on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET.


UCI TRACK CYCLING WORLD CUP – LIVE SUNDAY AT 10 A.M. ET

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA continues its presentation of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup season with live coverage from Manchester, England, this Sunday, November 12, at 10 a.m. ET.

Olympic silver medalist Jennifer Valente is expected to headline the U.S. women’s team, while 2017 Omnium national champion Dan Holloway and 2017 team pursuit national champion Gavin Hoover highlight the U.S. men’s contingent.

Additional streaming coverage of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup from Manchester will be available on OlympicChannel.com and the Olympic Channel app Friday at 11:30 a.m. ET and Saturday at 1:30 p.m. ET.
