Chicago, IL (November 6, 2017) — NBC Sports Chicago, the multi-platform home for the most in-depth coverage of the local and regional preps sports scene, along with the Iowa High School Sports Network (IHSSN), will deliver LIVE high-definition coverage of the 2017 Iowa High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) Football State Championships beginning this Thursday, November 9 at 9:00 AM CT from the UNI-Dome on the campus of the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, IA.
Iowa football fans can look forward to OVER FORTY-FIVE HOURS of live, action-packed coverage over the next two weekends beginning with the 8-Player & Class 3A Semifinals airing on Thursday (Nov. 9), followed by the Class A & 4A Semifinals on Friday (Nov. 10), along with the Class 1A & 2A Semifinals on Saturday (Nov. 11). The following week, viewers will be treated to two-straight days of triple-header State Championship coverage with the 8-Player/Class A/Class 3A title games taking place on Thursday, Nov. 16, which will be followed by the Class 1A/2A/4A state title games on Friday, Nov. 17 (NOTE: Full schedule details appear at the end of this announcement).
