NFL
NBC continues its presentation of Sunday Night Football this week as Ben Roethlisberger and the first-place Pittsburgh Steelers (5-2) take on Matthew Stafford and the Detroit Lions (3-3) at Ford Field in Detroit, Mich. Coverage begins with Football Night in America this Sunday, October 29, at 7 p.m. ET, on NBC.

Calling Steelers-Lions are Al Michaels (play-by-play), Cris Collinsworth; and reporter Michele Tafoya.

Football Night in America is hosted by Mike Tirico, who will report on-site from Ford Field, and Dan Patrick, who will host from Studio 1 at NBC Sports Group’s International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn. Patrick is joined by Tony Dungy, Rodney Harrison, and Mike Florio .Paul Burmeister will report from FedEx Field in Landover, Md., on the Cowboys-Redskins game.

 

NASCAR
NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs continues this weekend with coverage from Martinsville Speedway in Ridgeway, Virginia. Coverage of Sunday’s pivotal opening race begins at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

NBC Sports Group kicks off its Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series coverage from Martinsville Speedway this Saturday at 11:30 a.m. ET with first practice, available on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. In addition, local coverage will be available on NBC Sports Bay Area, NBC Sports Washington Plus, and NBC Sports Boston. Final practice follows at 3:45 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Sunday’s race day coverage begins at Noon ET on NBCSN with qualifying, followed by NASCAR America at 1 p.m. ET. Countdown to Green kicks off at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Denny Hamlin will join NASCAR America live on-set to discuss his hunt for a sixth trip to victory lane at Martinsville Speedway.

NASCAR Cup Series racing begins at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN, in which Dale Earnhardt Jr. will don NASCAR on NBC’s helmet visor camera, and provide viewers live in-car coverage from Martinsville Speedway.

Live on-site post-race coverage will follow the conclusion of Sunday’s race. NBCSN wraps up coverage at 7:30 p.m. ET, with Victory Lap, NBC Sports Group’s NASCAR post-race show originating from Stamford, Conn.

Rick Allen will call this weekend’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series action, alongside Steve Letarte, and Jeff Burton.

Krista Voda will host pre- and post-race coverage alongside Kyle Petty and Dale Jarrett Marty SniderKelli Stavast and Dave Burns  will report from pit road alongside reporter Rutledge Wood (@RutledgeWood).

 

PREMIER LEAGUE
NBC Sports Group’s Premier League coverage this weekend is highlighted by Manchester United hosting Tottenham this Saturday, October 28, at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN and Universo. Coverage also includes two matches on NBC, as Chelsea visit Bournemouth this Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET (also available on Universo), and Leicester City host Everton this Sunday, October 29, at Noon ET (also available on Telemundo).

Saturday at 10 a.m. ET, NBCSN presents Manchester City visiting West Bromwich Albion, with Liverpool v. Huddersfield Town on CNBC.

Also Saturday at 10 a.m. ET, NBC Sports Gold’s “Premier League Pass” presents three matches: Arsenal v. Swansea City, Crystal Palace v. West Ham United, and Watford v. Stoke City.

NBC’s first of two matches this weekend will feature Bournemouth v. Chelsea Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group’s play-by-play commentator Arlo White calls the match, joined by analyst Graeme Le Saux at Vitality Stadium. Immediately following the match, NBC presents a live Goal Zone at 2:30 p.m. ET. Rebecca Lowe hosts Goal Zone and Premier League Live, joined by player Robbie Earle and Robbie Mustoe.

Coverage on Sunday, October 29, begins at 8:30 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN, followed by Brighton & Hove Albion v. Southampton at 9:30 a.m. ET. Sunday at Noon ET, NBC hosts coverage of Leicester City v. Everton.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL
The No. 9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish look for their sixth consecutive victory this weekend, when they host the No. 14 North Carolina State Wolfpack this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Live pre-game coverage from Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind., begins at 3 p.m. ET on NBC with Countdown to Kickoff.

The Notre Dame Football on NBC commentary team is led by Mike Tirico, alongside Doug Flutie, and sideline reporter Kathryn Tappen.

Liam McHugh hosts studio coverage of Notre Dame Football on NBC, alongside Simms. McHugh and Simms anchor pre-game, halftime, and post-game coverage on-site at Notre Dame Stadium this season. Pre-game coverage will also feature an interview by Tirico with Josh Adams and Fighting Irish running backs coach Autry Denson.

NBCSN continues its 2017 Ivy League football schedule on Saturday night, when Princeton (5-1) hosts Cornell (2-4) at 7 p.m. ET.

Paul Burmeister (play-by-play) and Ross Tucker (analyst) will call the action from Princeton Stadium in Princeton, N.J.

 

FORMULA ONE
Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) can clinch his fourth career Formula One Drivers’ Championship on Sunday, as NBC Sports presents live coverage of the Mexican Grand Prix from Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez  at 3 p.m. ET on NBC. Pre-race coverage begins at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC with F1 Countdown.

NBC, NBCSN, NBCSports.com, and the NBC Sports app will combine to present comprehensive live coverage of all practice, qualifying and race coverage this weekend, continuing tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN with Practice 2.

NBCSN will air Practice 1 on Saturday at 11 a.m. ET, followed by Practice 2 at 3 p.m. ET. NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app will stream Practice 3 live on Saturday at 11 a.m. ET, which will air on NBCSN at 12:30 p.m. ET, followed by live qualifying on NBCSN at 2 p.m. ET. Pre-race coverage kicks off on Sunday with F1 Countdown beginning at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBC, followed by live race coverage beginning at 3 p.m. ET. F1 Extra wraps up the day’s events on NBC at 5 p.m. ET. NBCSN will air an encore presentation of the Mexican Grand Prix on Sunday night at 8:30 p.m. ET.

ISU SKATE CANADA
This weekend, NBC Sports Group presents 14.5 hours of coverage of Skate Canada from Saskatchewan, the second event in the 2017 International Skating Union (ISU) Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series.

Live coverage begins this Friday, October 27, at 3 p.m. ET, with the short programs on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, followed on Saturday, October 28, by live coverage of the free programs starting at 1 p.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. NBCSN will present coverage this Sunday, October 29, at 11:30 p.m. ET, and NBC will present encore coverage on Sunday, November 5, at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Andrea Joyce calls the action on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, alongside Ryan Bradley. Joyce will be joined by Ben Agosto for the ice dance competitions.

Terry Gannon handles play-by-play on NBC and NBCSN, joined by Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir.

 

FIS ALPINE SKIING WORLD CUP
NBC Sports Group will present its most robust FIS Alpine Skiing World Cup programming ever during the 2017-18 season, providing nearly 200 hours of linear and digital coverage spanning NBC, NBCSN, Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA, NBCSports.com, the NBC Sports app, OlympicChannel.com, and the Olympic Channel app.

Coverage begins on OlympicChannel.com and the Olympic Channel app on Saturday at 4 a.m. ET with the first run of the women’s giant slalom, followed by women’s giant slalom second run at 6:30 a.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. NBCSN will air an encore presentation on Saturday night at 10:30 p.m. ET. Coverage continues on Sunday, when OlympicChannel.com and the Olympic Channel app present run 1 of the men’s giant slalom at 5 a.m. ET, followed by the second run at 7:30 a.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.

PREMIERSHIP RUGBY
Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA presents coverage of Premiership Rugby with Northampton taking on the Wasps at 11:30 p.m. E.T.

The PGA TOUR stages the WGC-HSBC Champions in China at the Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai, China. The Golf Channel presents live coverage of the WGC-HSBC Champions tonight and Saturday at 11 p.m. E.T.

Play-by-play commentator Ewan Murray is joined by Rich Beem (analyst), with Phil Blackmar from the tower. Arron Oberholser and Wayne Riley contribute from the course.

The PGA TOUR Champions hosts its second of three Playoff events this week with the Powershares QQQ Championship in Southern California. The Golf Channel presents live coverage of the Powershares QQQ Championship at 5:30 p.m. E.T. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Whit Waston serves as play-by-play, joined by analyst Lanny Wadkins, with John Mahaffey from the tower, and Billy Ray Brown and John Cook reporting from the course.

The PGA TOUR is in Mississippi for the Sanderson Farms Championship this weekend. The Golf Channel presents live coverage of the Sanderson Farms Championship on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. E.T.

Steve Sands serves as play-by-play, joined by analyst Justin Leonard, with Jim Gallagher Jr. from the tower, and Jerry Foltz and Karen Stupples reporting from the course.

The LPGA Tour continues its Asia stretch of the schedule with the Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia this weekend. The Golf Channel will have coverage of the event Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. E.T. and 9 p.m. E.T. on Sunday.
