NBC Sports continues its presentation of Sunday Night Football this weekend as Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks host T.Y. Hilton and the Indianapolis Colts at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, Wash. Coverage begins with Football Night in America this Sunday, October 1, at 7 p.m. ET on NBC.
The Colts are coming off their first win of the season, a 31-28 victory over the Cleveland Browns, last Sunday in Indianapolis. QB Jacoby Brissett completed 17-of-24 passes for 259 yards and one touchdown, and added two rushing touchdowns in his second start for the Colts. The Seahawks look to bounce back from a 33-27 loss to the Tennessee Titans, despite Wilson throwing for a regular-season career-high 373 yards and four touchdowns.
Calling Colts-Seahawks are seven-time Emmy Award-winner Al Michaels (play-by-play), in his record 32nd season as the voice of the NFL’s premier primetime package; 16-time Emmy Award-winner Cris Collinsworth; and two-time Emmy Award-winning sideline reporter Michele Tafoya.
NBC’s coverage of Sunday Night Football is led by Emmy Award-winning producer Fred Gaudelli and Emmy Award-winning director Drew Esocoff.
Football Night in America, the most-watched studio show in sports, is hosted by Mike Tirico, who will report on-site from CenturyLink Field, and Dan Patrick, who will host from Studio 1 at NBC Sports Group’s International Broadcast Center in Stamford, Conn. Patrick is joined by Super Bowl-winning head coach Tony Dungy, two-time Super Bowl winner Rodney Harrison, and Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com and PFT Live on NBCSN and NBC Sports Radio. Paul Burmeister will report from Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, Colo., on the Raiders-Broncos game.
NBC Sports continues its season-long coverage of Notre Dame Football this Saturday at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN when the No. 22 Fighting Irish (3-1) host the Miami (Ohio) University RedHawks (2-2) in just the second-ever meeting between the two programs.
Paul Burmeister (play-by-play) will call the action this week, while Mike Tirico handles golf coverage of the Presidents Cup on NBC and Golf Channel. Burmeister will be joined in the booth by Heisman Trophy winner Doug Flutie (analyst) and sideline reporter Kathryn Tappen.
Liam McHugh hosts studio coverage of Notre Dame Football on NBC, alongside former college and NFL quarterback Chris Simms, on-site at Notre Dame Stadium for every game this season.
NBCSN kicks off its 2017 Ivy League football schedule on Friday night, when Penn (2-0) hosts Dartmouth (2-0) at 7 p.m. ET.
Randy Moss (play-by-play) and Ross Tucker (analyst), a former NFL offensive lineman and four-year starter at Princeton University, will call the action from Franklin Field in Philadelphia.
Friday night’s game marks the first of six Ivy League football telecasts this season on NBCSN and CNBC.
NBCSN kicks off its Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series coverage from Dover International Speedway this Friday at 10 a.m. ET with first practice, followed by qualifying at 3:30 p.m. ET. Saturday’s coverage begins at 10:30 a.m. ET on CNBC with second practice, followed by a special 30-minute edition of NASCAR America at 12:30 p.m. ET. Final practice wraps up the day at 1 p.m. ET on CNBC.
Sunday’s race day coverage begins at 1:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, with NBC Sports Group’s pre-race show, Countdown to Green. The 2017 Formula One season continues this week as NBC Sports Group presents comprehensive coverage of the Malaysian Grand Prix, culminating in live race coverage on Sunday morning at 2:30 a.m. ET/Saturday night at 11:30 p.m. PT on NBCSN. Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) and Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) continue their battle for the F1 World Drivers’ Championship, as 28 points separate the two with six races remaining.
Pre-race coverage kicks off on Saturday with F1 Countdown beginning at 2 a.m. ET on NBCSN followed by live race coverage at 2:30 a.m. ET. F1 Extra wraps up the day’s events on NBCSN at 5 a.m. ET. NBCSN will air an encore on Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET.
Leigh Diffey will call this weekend’s action and will be joined by veteran analyst and former racecar driver David Hobbs, and Steve Matchett, an analyst and former race mechanic for the Benetton F1 team. Will Buxton will serve as the on-site reporter in Sepang.

Thursday’s live coverage begins with the semifinals at 10 a.m. ET on the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. Professional golf will ascend upon the New York metropolitan area as NBC Sports Group will dedicate more than 60 live hours of coverage to the 2017 Presidents Cup, the biennial international match play competition taking place Sept. 25-Oct. 1 at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey. Golf Channel and NBC will combine to showcase the event that will feature 12 of the top male golfers in the United States against 12 of the best from the rest of the world (outside of Europe).
The Golf Channel presents live coverage of The President’s Cup on Friday at 11:30 a.m. E.T., NBC will provide live coverage on Saturday at 8 a.m. E.T. and Sunday at 12 p.m. E.T.
