STAMFORD, Conn. – September 14, 2017 – NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the 2017-18 Aviva Premiership Rugby season continues this weekend, highlighted by a matchup between the Newcastle Falcons (2-0) and the European Rugby Champions Cup champions Saracens (1-1) from Talen Energy Stadium in Philadelphia, Pa., on Saturday, September 16, at 11 p.m. ET on NBCSN. The undefeated Falcons aim to win their fifth consecutive Premiership game while Saracens looks to rebound from a 31-21 loss to Bath.
NBC Sports’ Paul Burmeister will anchor studio coverage for this Saturday’s action from Talen Energy Stadium. He will be joined by analyst and former Premiership Rugby player Alex Corbisiero, who played seven combined seasons for London Irish and Northampton Saints, while former USA Rugby captain and Premiership Rugby player Dan Lyle serves as reporter.
NORTHAMPTON SAINTS V. BATH RUGBY – FRIDAY AT 10 P.M. ET ON NBCSN
This week’s Premiership Rugby coverage kicks off tomorrow, September 15, at 10 p.m. ET with Northampton Saints (1-1) v. Bath Rugby (2-0) on NBCSN. Bath opened the Premiership season with back-to-back wins for the fifth time in the last six seasons, while Northampton led by Tom Collins are coming off a 24-11 win over Leicester. Burmeister anchors studio coverage from Stamford, Conn., joined by Corbisiero.
