ORLANDO, Fla. (Sept. 14, 2017) – The PGA TOUR is outside of Chicago this week for the BMW Championship, the penultimate event of the FedExCup Playoffs. Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas and Dustin Johnson lead the field of 70 as the current top-three in the FedExCup standings, and the three will be paired together during Rounds 1 and 2 on Thursday-Friday on Golf Channel. The LPGA Tour today announced that due to weather, The Evian Championship in France will now be staged as a 54-hole event. World No. 5 In Gee Chun will defend her 2016 title. The Web.com Tour Finals continue with the Albertsons Boise Open, the second of four tournaments that will ultimately award 25 additional 2017-2018 PGA TOUR cards. The European Tour is in The Netherlands for the KLM Open, as Joost Luiten defends.

Web.com Tour Finals continue: The Web.com Tour Finals continue this week with the second-leg of the four event series which will conclude with the Web.com Tour Championship (Sept. 28-Oct. 1). At the conclusion of the Web.com Tour Championship, 25 PGA TOUR cards for the 2017-18 season will be awarded to the top-25 players on the Finals money list.
Players eligible to compete: Eligible players for the Web.com Tour Finals are Nos. 1-75 on the Web.com Tour’s regular season money list, as well as Nos. 126-200 in the FedExCup standings following last month’s Wyndham Championship, plus non-members who earned enough equivalent FedExCup points to finish within the 126-200 range.
