STAMFORD, Conn. – August 7, 2017 – This week’s coverage of the 2017 IAAF World Track & Field Championships from London, England, on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA – a partnership between the International Olympic Committee, the United States Olympic Committee, and NBCUniversal – is highlighted by Usain Bolt competing in the men’s 4×100 relay, the final event of his illustrious career, and six-time Olympic gold medalist Allyson Felix competing in the women’s 400m final.

Following are highlights from this week’s programming on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA:

IAAF WORLD TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS

Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA continues coverage of the 2017 IAAF World Track & Field Championships from London, England, with action airing each weeknight at 8 p.m. ET.

Bolt will appear on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA during its coverage on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. ET, when he runs in 4x100m opening heats for Jamaica. The men’s 4x100m final will be televised Saturday, August 12, on NBC, with encore presentations on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. The Team USA relay team will also be seen in opening heats, led by five-time Olympic medalist Justin Gatlin and Christian Coleman, who finished 1-2 in the men’s 100m final ahead of Bolt last weekend.

The U.S. squad is also headlined by six-time Olympic gold medalist Allyson Felix competing in the women’s 400m final on Wednesday, reigning Olympic champion Matthew Centrowitz in the men’s 1500m, and 2016 Olympic gold medalist Dalilah Muhammad  in the women’s 400m hurdles.

Other international stars in action include two Rio 400m gold medalists both looking to complete the 200m-400m double: South African Wayde van Niekerk and Shaunae Miller-Uibo of the Bahamas.
