ARIC ALMIROLA JOINS LIVE EDITION OF NASCAR AMERICA FROM NASCAR HALL OF FAME - WEDNESDAY AT 5 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

Kurt Busch Joins NASCAR America Live in Studio This Thursday at 5 p.m. ET

NASCAR on NBC Podcast Highlights Slugger Labbe - Former Crew Chief for Richard Childress Racing’s No. 3

STAMFORD, Conn. - July 10, 2017 - As NBC Sports Group heads to New England this weekend for some wicked fast racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, NBCSN’s daily motorsports show, NASCAR America, offers a jammed packed week of exclusive driver interviews and on-site coverage, highlighted by the show’s weekly edition from the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

This Wednesday at 5 p.m. ET, Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series driver Aric Almirola will join NASCAR on NBC lead race announcer Rick Allen (@Rickallenracing), The Mayor” of NASCAR Jeff Burton (@JeffBurton), auto racing icon Kyle Petty (@kylepetty), and Hall of Fame driver Dale Jarrett (@Dalejarrett), live from the Hall of Honor, at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, N.C.

Almirola will discuss his recovery from the accident that sidelined him at Kansas Speedway earlier this year, as well as his upcoming testing session at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and his possible return to the No. 43 this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

As part of NBCSN’s comprehensive coverage of the 2017 NASCAR season, NASCAR America will present a live show each week from the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Each live episode will include an in-depth interview with an active driver, and highlight their journey to professional racing.


KURT BUSCH JOINS NASCAR AMERICA THIS THURSDAY

Amid preparations for Sunday’s race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Kurt Busch will stop by NBC Sports Group’s headquarters in Stamford, Conn., this Thursday, July 13, for a live in-studio interview on NASCAR America. In addition, Busch will take over NASCAR on NBC’s social accounts, and participate in interviews with NBCSports.com, NBC Sports Radio and select NBC affiliates.


NASCAR AMERICA - SCAN ALL KENTUCKY

This week’s editions of NASCAR America will include Scan All Kentucky, a special look back at the most-viral, thought provoking and entertaining comments overheard at last weekend’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Kentucky Speedway.


PIT CREW ALL-STARS SERIES WITH STEVE LETARTE

Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte (@Steveletarte) continues his new “Pit Crew All-Stars” series, with nominations of the crew members who made a significant difference in their driver’s success this past weekend. A season-long initiative to highlight race team members, in advance of the Championship race at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Letarte will announce his official all-start crew of the season, encompassing various shining starts from different race teams and rosters.


THE MORNING DRIVE – WEDNESDAY ON SIRIUS XM NASCAR RADIO

NASCAR on NBC fans can catch Jeff Burton, this Wednesday, during NBC Sports’ weekly interview on Sirius XM NASCAR Radio’s The Morning Drive. Burton will join veteran race announcer Mike Bagley and racing insider Pete Pistone to discuss Martin Truex Jr.’s dominating win this past weekend at Kentucky Speedway.


FORMER CREW CHIEF SLUGGER LABBE JOINS NATE RYAN’S NASCAR ON NBC PODCAST

Former crew chief for Richard Childress Racing’s No. 3, Slugger Labbe, joins NBCSports.com’s lead motorsports writer Nate Ryan (@nateryan) on this week’s podcast, to discuss how he got started in NASCAR, his first win with Michael Waltrip, and how much being a crew chief and managing a team changed over his 20 years on the job. LIVE MONSTER ENERGY CUP AND XFINITY SERIES COVERAGE THIS WEEKEND

NBCSN’s live race coverage this week begins Saturday at 4 p.m. ET on NBCSN, with XFINITY Series racing from New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and culminates Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN, with Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series racing. Further details on this weekend’s coverage will be announced in the coming days.

In 2017, NBC Sports Group will present the final 20 NASCAR Cup Series races, final 19 NASCAR XFINITY Series events and select NASCAR Regional & Touring Series events.

NBC Sports Group’s NASCAR programming also includes NBCSN’s daily motorsports

show NASCAR America, coverage of NASCAR’s Awards Ceremonies, the annual NASCAR Hall of Fame induction ceremony, as well as original programming specials. NBC Sports Group concluded the 2016 NASCAR season presenting more hours of trackside coverage and programming than ever before.

In 2016, NBC Sports Group continued to innovate and entertain race fans with 630 hours of NASCAR programming, including interactive watch parties, documentary specials and new shoulder programming, in addition to its 366 live trackside hours from 22 different states. In 2016, overall consumption of NASCAR content on NBC Sports’ Digital properties was up 50% vs. 2015, and NASCAR on NBC’s social platforms generated a triple-digit increase in video views, as well as double-digit increase in fan base and impressions compared to the 2015 season.
