Fowler, Thomas Headline Field at Quicken Loans National 

Rahm to Make European Tour Debut at HNA Open de France

ORLANDO, Fla. (June 28, 2017) – The LPGA Tour will tee it up at Olympia Fields for the first time as players compete for the season’s second major, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. New World No. 1 – So Yeon Ryu – headlines the field, which also includes other top-5 players in: Ariya Jutanugarn, Lydia Ko, Lexi Thompson and In Gee Chun. Golf Central will be on-site to preview and breakdown all of the action during the week. The PGA TOUR heads to Maryland for the Quicken Loans National, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas headline the field as the TOUR returns to TPC Potomac at Avenel Farm, which will host its first PGA TOUR event in more than a decade. Jon Rahm will make his European Tour debut at the HNA Open de France. Seven Europeans from the 2016 Ryder Cup—Martin Kaymer, Lee Westwood, Danny Willet, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Thomas Pieters, Andy Sullivan and Chris Wood—are in the field and will get an early look at the 2018 Ryder Cup host site.

Golf Central Special player news conferences airing from 5-6 p.m. ET today: Today at 5 p.m. ET, Golf Central will air a special player news conference shows from the media center at Olympia Fields, featuring players in the field looking ahead to their opening round on Thursday.
Golf Central and Morning Drive on-site: Morning Drive and Golf Central will originate from on-site at Olympia Fields. Chantel McCabe and Nicole Castrale will set the stage each day on Morning Drive with interviews and analysis. Golf Central will offer analysis and reaction prior to and immediately following live tournament coverage. KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit Streaming on Golf Channel Digital platforms on Wednesday: The KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit will be hosted on-site on Wednesday, and assembles accomplished leaders in sports, business, politics and media to inspire the next generation of women leaders. Condoleezza Rice will be one of the keynote speakers. The summit will be streamed live from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET on Golf Channel Digital platforms.
Henderson defends: Brooke Henderson started the week last year with a hole-in-one, winning a new car. By the end of the week, she won her first major championship and second career LPGA Tour win when she beat Lydia Ko in a playoff.
Integrating social media: For the first time, Golf Channel and NBC will incorporate social media into an LPGA Tour telecast and utilize posts from players and fans using the hashtag #KPMGWomensPGA.
