Chicago, IL (June 20, 2017) – In celebration of Chicago White Sox legend MARK BUEHRLE being honored by the team with his #56 jersey officially being retired, CSN has announced it will provide fans with expanded, LIVE coverage of “Mark Buehrle Day” from Guaranteed Rate Field, highlighted by the prestigious ceremony on Saturday, June 24 beginning at 12 NOON CT on White Sox Pregame Live presented by The Kowalis Family of Dealerships (hosted by Chuck Garfien & Bill Melton, along with numerous special guests, and on-field reports from Siera Santos).  NOTE: The on-field jersey retirement ceremony will be emceed by CSN’s legendary White Sox announcer Ken “Hawk” Harrelson.  The ceremony will be followed by CSN’s live coverage of the White Sox hosting the Oakland Athletics (1:10 PM scheduled game start featuring Jason Benetti and Steve Stone with the game call) with Subaru White Sox Postgame Live (hosted by Garfien, Melton, along with 2005 World Series hero Scott Podsednik) immediately following the contest showcasing a complete game recap and highlights from Buehrle’s big day.  IMPORTANT NOTE: “Mark Buehrle Day” coverage and all CSN on-air content is also available for live stream viewing on CSNChicago.com/WatchLive or via the NBC Sports app to authenticated CSN Chicago subscribers.
