STANLEY CUP FINAL GAME 6 – PENGUINS-PREDATORS – SUNDAY AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBC

The Penguins dominated the Predators in Game 5 in Pittsburgh, notching a 6-0 win at home on Thursday night to move within one victory of their second consecutive Stanley Cup title. Six different skaters scored for Pittsburgh, including Evgeni Malkin and Phil Kessel, and Sidney Crosby contributed with three assists.

Pittsburgh led last night’s game 6-0 after two periods. This marked the first time a team held a six-goal lead at that point of a Stanley Cup Final game since 1996, when the Colorado Avalanche led the Florida Panthers 7-1 in Game 2.

With one more win, the Penguins would become the first team to repeat as Stanley Cup champion since the Detroit Red Wings, who accomplished the feat in 1997 and 1998. All four of the Pens’ Stanley Cups have been won away from Pittsburgh (1991 – Minnesota, 1992 – Chicago, 2009 – Detroit, 2016 – San Jose).

The home team has won every game of this series, outscoring the road team 24-6. If the Predators win Game 6 on Sunday, they will force a winner-take-all Game 7 on Wednesday night at 8 p.m. ET on NBC in Pittsburgh, the first Game 7 in a Stanley Cup Final since 2011 (Boston-Vancouver).

Following is the full telecast schedule for the remainder of the 2017 Stanley Cup Final on NBC. Pre-game coverage will begin each night with NHL Live at 6 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
