NBC Sports Gold’s “Track and Field Pass” live stream will begin Saturday at 2:45 p.m. ET, and also offers exclusive bonus coverage of field events, highlights, and replays, as well as an exclusive 30-minute preview of the event.

The Prefontaine Classic, named for famed American distance runner Steve Prefontaine, is the only stop in North America on the prestigious IAAF Diamond League circuit. Track and field athletes ranked in the top 50 in the world in their events are eligible to compete.

The U.S. team will be headlined by six-time Olympic gold medalist Allyson Felix, who is slated to compete in the women’s 200m. It will be a star-studded event as all three Rio 200m medalists are expected to enter: American Tori Bowie, Jamaica’s Elaine Thompson, and Netherlands’ Dafne Schippers. The women’s long jump field includes Tianna Bartoletta, who won gold in Rio, and London Olympic gold medalist Brittney Reese.

The men’s 100m will feature a showdown between five-time Olympic medalist Justin Gatlin and Canada’s Andre De Grasse, who won three Olympic medals last summer. Americans Christian Taylor and Will Claye, who went 1-2 in Rio, highlight the men’s triple jump field, and Matthew Centrowitz, who won the first U.S. gold in the 1500m since 1908 at the 2016 Games, will race the mile.

Rick Allen handles the call on NBC and NBCSN, joined by analyst and four-time Olympic medalist Ato Boldon, analyst, four-time Olympic gold medalist and five-time world champion Sanya Richards-Ross, analyst Craig Masback, and reporters Lewis Johnson and Todd Harris.

Coverage of Olympic Sports on NBC Sports Group platforms is a presentation of the Olympic Channel, Home of Team USA.
