NHL
NBC Sports will present up to six NHL Stanley Cup Playoff games this weekend, headlined by a Saturday night elimination game on NBC immediately following the 143rd running of the Kentucky Derby, when Alex Ovechkin and the (1) Washington Capitals look to stay alive against Evgeni Malkin and the (2) Pittsburgh Penguins in Game 5 of their second-round series.

Saturday’s coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET on NBCSN, when Henrik Lundqvist and the (WC1) New York Rangers face Erik Karlsson and the (2) Ottawa Senators in a pivotal Game 5 with the series tied 2-2.

This weekend’s coverage kicks off with a Western Conference Game 5 doubleheader tonight on NBCSN, beginning at 8 p.m. ET, when P.K. Subban and the Nashville Predators look to advance to the Western Conference Final with a win against Vladimir Tarasenko and the St. Louis Blues.

The action shifts west at 10:30 p.m. ET, when Ryan Getzlaf and the (1) Anaheim Ducks host Connor McDavid and the (2) Edmonton Oilers in Game 5 of their series, knotted at two games apiece. PREMIER LEAGUE
NBC Sports Group presents a full slate of matches this week, with five match days in a six-day span beginning today at 3 p.m. ET with West Ham United v. second-place Tottenham on NBCSN.

Weekend Premier League coverage continues this Saturday, May 6, at 7 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN, followed by fourth-place Manchester City v. Crystal Palace at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN

Saturday at 10 a.m. ET, NBCSN presents coverage of Hull City v. recently-relegated Sunderland, while CNBC hosts coverage of Leicester City v. Watford.

NBC Sports Group kicks off its more than 15 hours of Kentucky Derby Week coverage this Thursday, May 4, live at 4 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Saturday’s live Derby Day coverage begins at Noon ET on NBCSN with five hours of live coverage from Churchill Downs.

NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the Kentucky Derby features hosts Bob Costas, , and Mike Tirico, in his first Triple Crown assignment; analysts Randy Moss and Jerry Bailey, NBCSN host Krista Voda; analysts/handicappers Bob Neumeier and Eddie Olczyk; reporters Donna Brothers, Carolyn Manno, Laffit Pincay, III, and Kenny Rice; and race caller Larry Collmus. NBC News weather anchor and correspondent Dylan Dreyer makes her NBC Sports Group debut as a lifestyle correspondent; and NBC Sports Group’s NASCAR features reporter Rutledge Wood returns to provide a mix of features and social media content.

TRACK AND FIELD
NBC Sports Group presents encore coverage of the IAAF Diamond League from Doha, Qatar, this Saturday, May 6, at 8:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Rick Allen handles the call on NBCSN, joined by analyst Sanya Richards-Ross, and analyst Paul Swangard.

VOLLEYBALL
NBC Sports Group will present coverage of all eight AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tour events of the season on NBC and NBCSN. Coverage of the Tour begins in Huntington Beach, Calif., this Sunday, May 7, at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Chris Marlowe will serve as the play-by-play announcer for all AVP telecasts on NBC and NBCSN. Marlowe will be joined by Kevin Wong (analyst), Dain Blanton (reporter), and Tanith White (reporter).

CYCLING
NBCSN will kick off coverage of the 2017 Amgen Tour of California with a one-hour preview show hosted by Steve Schlanger this Sunday, May 7, at 4 p.m. ET. The show will also be streamed with NBC Sports Gold’s “Cycling Pass,” as well as on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.

IIHF WORLD HOCKEY CHAMPIONSHIPS
NBC Sports Group begins its coverage of the 2017 IIHF World Hockey Championship this week from Cologne, Germany, and Paris, France, marking the seventh consecutive year covering international hockey’s premier annual tournament.

Highlights of Team USA’s schedule includes a live presentation of its clash with Russia on Tuesday, May 16, at 10:15 a.m. ET on NBCSN to close out the preliminary round. GOLF
The European Tour this week will stage its own innovative team event, GolfSixes, showcasing a field of 16 two-man teams representing 16 countries. The PGA TOUR shifts venues to Eagle Point Golf Club in Wilmington this week for the Wells Fargo Championship. The PGA TOUR Champions are in Texas for the Insperity Invitational, with a strong field led by Bernhard Langer, Fred Couples and Miguel Angel Jimenez.

Live weekend coverage of GolfSixes begins Saturday at 7:30 a.m. ET on Golf Channel. Golf Channel’s coverage concludes Sunday at 7 a.m. ET.

Scott Walker hosts as David Howell (play-by-play) calls the action from Centurion Club, St. Albans, England. Calling the action with Howell are analysts Andrew Coltart, Richard Boxall and Nick Dougherty with Wayne Riley and Henni Zuel on the course.

Live weekend coverage of the Wells Fargo Championship begins today at 2 p.m. ET on Golf Channel. Golf Channel’s coverage continues Saturday and Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Golf Central will provide the latest news and storylines continuing through Sunday’s final round. Terry Gannon (play-by-play) will call the action, while Nick Falso will offer analysis with Matt Gogel in the tower, and Phil Blackmar will be on the course as Todd Lewis conducts interviews with players in the field.
