NBCSN to Present Encore Coverage of Both Events Back-to-Back Sunday at Midnight ET

STAMFORD, Conn. - April 18, 2017 - NBC Sports Group continues its 2017 cycling schedule with live coverage of La Flèche Wallonne tomorrow, Wednesday, April 19, at 8:15 a.m. ET, and live coverage of the Liège–Bastogne–Liège this Sunday, April 23, at 8:10 a.m. ET on NBC Sports Gold’s “Cycling Pass.” NBCSN will present encore coverage of both races back-to-back beginning this Sunday at midnight ET with La Flèche Wallonne.

Spain’s Alejandro Valverde (Movistar) has won the last three editions of La Flèche Wallonne, and will be looking for his fifth career title this week. He faces competition from Daniel Martin of Ireland (Quick-Step Floors), who has finished on the podium twice at La Flèche Wallonne, Sky teammates Sergio Henao of Colombia and Michal Kwiatkowski of Poland, and Switzerland’s Michael Albasini (Orica-Scott), who has six career top 10 finishes in the race. Set in Belgium’s Wallonia region, La Flèche Wallonne begins in Binche, moves east toward the hills, and finishes atop the Mur de Huy.

Valverde and Martin will also headline the Liège-Bastogne-Liège in Belgium just four days later, the final Monument Classic of the season.
