The documentary is told through the voices of many of the world’s most prominent female athletes, broadcasters, and sports executives, including longtime champion for gender equality and women’s tennis icon Billie Jean King.

TOMBOY engages our fans and communities on the topic of women in sports,” said Ted Griggs, President, Group and Strategic Production & Programming Leader for NBC Sports Regional Networks. “Thanks to Comcast NBCUniversal, this donation allows us to enable more young girls and boys the opportunities to play sports, and potentially change the conversation for the future.”

“Boys & Girls Clubs of America encourages all kids and teens, boys and girls, to be leaders in all that they do whether it’s sports, STEM or other passions,” said Jim Clark, President and CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of America. “Thank you to Comcast NBCUniversal for continuing to provide incredible support for our Club members, enabling them to achieve a great future.”
