Details: NBC Sports Regional Networks recently announced the launch of TOMBOY, a multi-platform documentary project that aims to elevate the conversation about gender in sports, told through the voices of many of the world’s most prominent female athletes, broadcasters and sports executives. The initiative culminates with a special one-hour documentary, also titled TOMBOY, airing on CSN Philadelphia on Monday, March 13 at 10 p.m.
As part of this event, and in conjunction with the TOMBOY initiative, Comcast Senior Executive Vice President David L. Cohen will present a $50,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of America to be used to purchase sports equipment for children who attend the Clubs. Lisabeth Marziello, Chief Executive Officer Boys & Girls Club of Philadelphia, will accept the contribution.
TOMBOY airs across all NBC Sports Regional Networks, NBCSN, and select NBC Owned Television Stations during Women’s History Month.
