NHL
NBC Sports’ 2017 debut of the NHL Game of the Week features a “Star Sunday” showcase highlighting Rangers defenseman Ryan McDonagh and Red Wings forward Dylan Larkin, when Detroit hosts New York this Sunday at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC from Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Mich.

Mike ‘Doc’ Emrick (play-by-play), Eddie Olczyk (analyst), and Pierre McGuire (‘Inside-the-Glass analyst) will call this week’s Rangers-Red Wings “Star Sunday” NHL Game of the Week. Pre-game coverage and intermissions will be hosted by Liam McHugh, alongside analysts Mike Milbury and Keith Jones.

PREMIER LEAGUE
NBC Sports Group continues its presentation of the Premier League season this weekend with live matches on NBC, NBCSN and CNBC, highlighted by second-place Tottenham visiting fifth-place Manchester City this Saturday, Jan. 21, at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBC. NBC Sports Group’s lead Premier League play-by-play commentator Arlo White calls the match, joined by analyst Lee Dixon.

Following the match, NBC presents a live Goal Zone at 2:30 p.m. ET. Rebecca Lowe hosts Goal Zone and Premier League Live, joined by Robbie Earle and Kyle Martino.

Coverage on Saturday, Jan. 21, begins at 6:30 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN followed by third-place Liverpool v. Swansea City Saturday at 7:30 a.m. ET on NBCSN.

Saturday at 10 a.m. ET, Stoke City host Manchester United on NBCSN and Crystal Palace host Everton on CNBC.

Premier League coverage on Sunday, January 22, begins at 6:30 a.m. ET with Premier League Live on NBCSN followed by Southampton v. Leicester City at 7 a.m. ET. FIGURE SKATING
Olympians Ashley Wagner and Gracie Gold highlight NBC Sports Group’s coverage of the 2017 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships from the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Mo.

NBC hosts live coverage throughout the weekend, beginning this Saturday, Jan. 21, at 3 p.m. ET with the pairs’ free and free dance programs, continuing in primetime at 8 p.m. ET with the ladies’ free skate. NBCSN will present coverage of the short dance program Friday at 6 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group’s lead figure skating commentary team of play-by-play announcer Terry Gannon, Tara Lipinski, and Johnny Weir will call the 2017 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships, with Scott Hamilton offering analysis and insight throughout NBC’s coverage this weekend. They’ll be joined by Tanith White and reporter Andrea Joyce on-site at the Sprint Center.

NASCAR
NBCSN presents live coverage of the 2017 NASCAR Hall of Fame induction ceremony – celebrating the eighth NASCAR Hall of Fame class – tonight at 8 p.m. ET, from the Crown Ballroom at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, N.C.

NASCAR on NBC host Krista Voda and lead race announcer Rick Allen will co-host the 2017 Hall of Fame induction ceremony. Legendary NASCAR commentator Ken Squier will narrate the show open, which commemorates the 2017 Hall of Fame class and pays homage to the institution itself.

SKIING
NBC Sports Group’s FIS World Cup alpine skiing coverage features the men’s event in Kitzbuehel, Austria, known as one of the world’s most legendary and treacherous ski races, on Universal HD and NBCSN. On the women’s World Cup circuit, Lindsey Vonn is slated to compete in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, marking in her second event since returning from injury last weekend.

Same-day delay coverage of the super-G airs today at 2:30 p.m. ET on Universal HD. NBCSN televises the downhill on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET, followed by the slalom on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET. NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app presents streaming coverage of the super-G tomorrow at 5:30 a.m. ET, the downhill on Saturday at 5:30 a.m. ET, and the slalom on Sunday at 4:30 a.m. ET.

Steve Schlanger (play-by-play) and Steve Porino (analyst) call this weekend event in Kitzbuehel.

Lindsey Vonn will compete in her second event since returning from injury last weekend in Austria, where she finished 13th in the downhill. Vonn won the downhill and finished third in the super-G last year in Garmisch-Partenkirchen last year.

Universal HD will televise the downhill on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET and presents coverage of the super-G on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET. NBCSports.com and the NBCSports app will live-stream the downhill Saturday at 4:15 a.m. ET, and the super-G on Sunday at 6 a.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group’s Olympic winter sports action also includes the Toyota U.S. Grand Prix snowboard-cross event from Solitude, Utah, this Sunday at 3 p.m. ET on NBC.

This weekend’s Toyota U.S. Grand Prix event in Solitude, Utah, on NBC marks the first snowboard-cross World Cup event in the states since 2012. The U.S. will be led by two-time Olympic champion Seth Wescott, 2006 Olympic silver medalist Lindsey Jacobellis, and 2014 Olympic bronze medalist Alex Deibold.

Todd Harris (play-by-play) calls the action from Solitude alongside Todd Richards (analyst) and Tina Dixon (reporter).

ATLANTIC 10
NBCSN continues its presentation of the Atlantic 10 men’s basketball season with three conference matchups this weekend, highlighted by a showdown between the La Salle Explorers and the VCU Rams on Sunday, January 22, at 2 p.m. ET.

Saturday’s A-10 doubleheader coverage tips off at 12:30 p.m. ET, when the Fordham Rams (8-11) visit the UMass Minutemen (12-7) at William D. Mullins Memorial Center in Amherst, Mass.

Paul Burmeister calls the game alongside analyst Jordan Cornette.

NBCSN’s A-10 action continues at 2:30 p.m. ET, when the Duquesne Dukes (9-10) host the Rhode Island Rams (11-6) at A.J. Palumbo Center in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Rich Lerner (play-by-play) and David Kaplan (analyst) will provide commentary.

Weekend coverage concludes Sunday at 2 p.m. ET, when La Salle (10-5) takes on VCU (14-5) at Siegel Center in Richmond, Va.

Dan Hicks (play-by-play) and Steve Sands (play-by-play) will provide play-by-play for Golf Channel’s coverage from La Quinta, Calif.
